Hi David, What we would be looking for is work on predefined work packages that somebody can do as a teleworker. Is that something you would be interested in? Hello Together, We are a German based Company using FreeSwitch for some of our projects. For those we often have to do changes / enhancements to FreeSwitch. We are currently looking for help doing that, so I thought why not ask the experts here on the developer mailing list. So anybody interested in doing some paid programming work on Freeswitch, just drop me an Email. Regards Martin Bitzinger Comdasys AG

SRTP to RTP and SIPS TLS
by Maxim Karp 23 Oct '07

23 Oct '07

Hello, Has anyone used freeSWITCH as a User Agent to convert inbound SRTP media streams to RTP before routing them to a secondary SIP proxy, SBC or Call Manager? How about using TLS to encrypt SIP signaling? Thanks in advance, Maxim.

Mac OSX mod_portaudio build problem
by Tamas 22 Oct '07

22 Oct '07

Hello, I have a build issue on Mac OSX 10.4.2 Mac Mini (PPC) - SVN r6015. In the 1st run FreeSWITCH (bootstrap.sh) complained for old automake so I hade to download Macports and install new automake (than set the PATH variable: PATH=/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:$PATH). After this step, bootstrap.sh did it's work and configure made too. FS compiled fine in this step - with the default modules.conf settings. I added speex and portaudio, where speex was OK while at mod_portaudio build, libs/portaudio compilation failed with: making all mod_portaudio gcc -c -g -O2 -DPA_BIG_ENDIAN -arch i386 -arch ppc -isysroot /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk -mmacosx-version-min=10.3 -I./include -I./src/common -I./src/os/unix -DPACKAGE_NAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_VERSION=\"\" -DPACKAGE_STRING=\"\" -DPACKAGE_BUGREPORT=\"\" -DSTDC_HEADERS=1 -DHAVE_SYS_TYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_STAT_H=1 -DHAVE_STDLIB_H=1 -DHAVE_STRING_H=1 -DHAVE_MEMORY_H=1 -DHAVE_STRINGS_H=1 -DHAVE_INTTYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_STDINT_H=1 -DHAVE_UNISTD_H=1 -DHAVE_DLFCN_H=1 -DWORDS_BIGENDIAN=1 -DSIZEOF_SHORT=2 -DSIZEOF_INT=4 -DSIZEOF_LONG=4 -DHAVE_NANOSLEEP=1 -DPA_USE_COREAUDIO=1 -DHAVE_LIBKERN_OSATOMIC_H=1 src/common/pa_cpuload.c -fno-common -DPIC -o src/common/pa_cpuload.o cc1: error: invalid option 'macosx-version-min=10.3' cc1: error: invalid option 'macosx-version-min=10.3' lipo: can't figure out the architecture type of: /var/tmp//ccWylNiN.out make[6]: *** [src/common/pa_cpuload.lo] Error 1 make[5]: *** [../../../../libs/portaudio/lib/libportaudio.la] Error 2 make[4]: *** [all] Error 1 make[3]: *** [mod_portaudio-all] Error 1 make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [all] Error 2 As a quick hack I removed the -macosx-version-min=10.3 switch from the libs/portaudio/Makefile file (2 places) and started again. make went over this issue but dropped this error: gcc -c -g -O2 -DPA_BIG_ENDIAN -arch i386 -arch ppc -isysroot /Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk -I./include -I./src/common -I./src/os/unix -DPACKAGE_NAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\"\" -DPACKAGE_VERSION=\"\" -DPACKAGE_STRING=\"\" -DPACKAGE_BUGREPORT=\"\" -DSTDC_HEADERS=1 -DHAVE_SYS_TYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_SYS_STAT_H=1 -DHAVE_STDLIB_H=1 -DHAVE_STRING_H=1 -DHAVE_MEMORY_H=1 -DHAVE_STRINGS_H=1 -DHAVE_INTTYPES_H=1 -DHAVE_STDINT_H=1 -DHAVE_UNISTD_H=1 -DHAVE_DLFCN_H=1 -DWORDS_BIGENDIAN=1 -DSIZEOF_SHORT=2 -DSIZEOF_INT=4 -DSIZEOF_LONG=4 -DHAVE_NANOSLEEP=1 -DPA_USE_COREAUDIO=1 -DHAVE_LIBKERN_OSATOMIC_H=1 src/common/pa_cpuload.c -fno-common -DPIC -o src/common/pa_cpuload.o src/common/pa_cpuload.c:55:20: error: assert.h: No such file or directory src/common/pa_cpuload.c:55:20: error: assert.h: No such file or directory lipo: can't figure out the architecture type of: /var/tmp//ccZF5Xkv.out make[6]: *** [src/common/pa_cpuload.lo] Error 1 make[5]: *** [../../../../libs/portaudio/lib/libportaudio.la] Error 2 make[4]: *** [all] Error 1 make[3]: *** [mod_portaudio-all] Error 1 make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make: *** [all] Error 2 As I'm a newbie in Mac and Mac OSX, I could make something wrong with preparing the system, so this could be mine fault instead of FS's. Thank you in advance, Tamas

Hello, The documentation on the freeSWITCH website mentions support for Windows Mobile/CE. Where can I find docs, source code and a VS2005 sln for this platform? Do any sample apps exist? Thanks! Maxim.

Localized Numbering Plans
by Raymond Chandler 19 Oct '07

19 Oct '07

After seeing how many people responded to Brian's requests on localized say stuff, I figured I'd run this up the flagpole and see who salutes it.... I'd like to see FreeSwitch have localized numbering plans for many different areas out of the box. So, I've written a semi-complete version of a US numbering plan to spark some discussion on how others think it should be done.... and maybe get some examples written for other areas. If you notice any syntax errors, etc.... keep in mind this was written rather quickly and NOT thoroughly tested.... it's really just a (somewhat functional?) draft. ---- In Existing default_context ---- <extension name="Localized_Dialplan"> <condition field="${numbering_plan}" expression="^[[:alnum:]]+$"/> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^([[:alnum:]]+)$"> <action application="transfer" data="$1 XML ${numbering_plan}-Numbering-Plan"/> </condition> </extension> ---- in numberplans/US.conf.xml (needs to be included)---- <context name="US-Numbering-Plan"> <extension name="US_International"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^011(\d*)$"> <action application="set" data="continue_on_fail=true"/> <action application="set" data="hangup_after_bridge=true"/> <action application="enum" data="1$1"/> <action application="bridge" data="${enum_auto_route}"/> <action application="bridge" data="sofia/$${domain}/011$1"/> </condition> </extension> <extension name="US_LD"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^1?([2-9]\d{2}[2-9]\d{6})$"> <action application="set" data="continue_on_fail=true"/> <action application="set" data="hangup_after_bridge=true"/> <action application="enum" data="1$1"/> <action application="bridge" data="${enum_auto_route}"/> <action application="bridge" data="sofia/$${domain}/1$1"/> </condition> </extension> <extension name="US_Local"> <condition field="${default_area_code}" expression="\d{3}" continue="on-true"> <anti-action application="say" data="you must dial the area code to call this destination"/> </condition> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^([2-9]\d{6})$"> <action application="set" data="continue_on_fail=true"/> <action application="set" data="hangup_after_bridge=true"/> <action application="enum" data="1$1"/> <action application="bridge" data="${enum_auto_route}"/> <action application="bridge" data="sofia/$${domain}/1${default_area_code}$1"/> </condition> </extension> <extension name="FCC_Services"> <condition field="^([4689]11)$"> <action application="bridge" data="sofia/$${domain}/$1"/> </condition> </extension> </context>

I would actually have time to read that. :) Trying to read all of the posts to svn-commit got overwhelming, so I un-subbed. On another project there's a daily summary of the last day's commit logs and affected files. It's very helpful and I would at least get some benefit from it. Once a day posted to the -dev list is my vote. -Chris -- \\\|||/// \ Chris Parker - Segmentation Fault ( core dumped ) \ ~ ~ / \ | @ @ | \ http://www.segv.org | cparker(a)segv.org oOo (_) oOo \ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ # OS's are nothing more than device drivers! # _______________________________________________ Freeswitch-dev mailing list Freeswitch-dev(a)lists.freeswitch.org http://lists.freeswitch.org/mailman/listinfo/freeswitch-dev UNSUBSCRIBE:http://lists.freeswitch.org/mailman/options/freeswitch-dev http://www.freeswitch.org __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
