[Freeswitch-dev] ZRTP
by Robert Clayton 05 Aug '08

05 Aug '08

Is anyone attempting to implement the ZRTP cryptographic key-agreement protocol (a method of encrypting voice data using self-generated keys, rather than keys from certificate authorities). Some softphones such as X-Lite already implement it. There is apparently an open source library at ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/ccrtp/libzrtpcpp-0.9.0.tar.gz

[Freeswitch-dev] .NET Development
by Patrick Tran 31 Jul '08

31 Jul '08

I'm new to Freeswitch and trying to develop a .NET Application. I'm having a lot of trouble getting started though. There doesn't seem to be a lot support out there for this. My development has sort of come to a stand-still and I was wondering if anyone could help me get pointed in the right direction. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks -Patrick

[Freeswitch-dev] Windows Build
by Robert Clayton 29 Jul '08

29 Jul '08

Congratulation on FreeSwitch 1.0.1. I was attempting to do a VS2008 build. The documentation for compiling under windows: http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Download_%26_Installation_Guide Suggests deletion of two files I do not find: libs/iksemel/include/config.h libs/xmlrpc/xmlrpc_config.h and changing two settings I do not see in the Property Pages: FreeSwitchCoreLib - Enable Minimal Rebuild XML Interfaces\mod_xml_rpc - Enable default libraries Would you suggest just using a different compiler?

[Freeswitch-dev] FreeSWITCH EC2 AMI
by Brian West 25 Jul '08

25 Jul '08

I'm currently putting together an EC2 image with FreeSWITCH on it. I'll be hosting a 1.0.1 image and try to load a weekly image of SVN trunk. I'll be incurring some costs associated with this. If anyone wants to donate to the cost of me hosting these images in my AWS account please contact me off list. Brian West sip:brian@freeswitch.org

[Freeswitch-dev] Custom sip contact header
by Simon Capper 24 Jul '08

24 Jul '08

I need to set the contact header on a per outgoing call basis, I can't find a way to do this in the mod_sofia. Would you accept a patch for a new channel parameter "sip-contact" that gets used as the contact username in sofia_glue_do_invite when the invite_contact is not already set, i.e. Non-gateway calls. It would be similar to the " sip_transport" channel variable. Simon
