[Freeswitch-dev] Question regarding modification of SDP in INVITE generated by FreeSwitch Server
by Akshay Patil 08 Feb '19

Hi All, I am currently trying to develop a new module in freeswitch which requires SIP interaction. In this new mod, the primary decision making will be based on the multipart text received in the SIP INVITE message. So far, I am able to do the following: 1. upon receiving SIP INVITE, separate the received multipart text 2. do the required processing and take a decision based on this Now I want to generate a new SIP INVITE (to a different user) having a similar structure (i.e. sending out a new text message to the user along with new parameters in SDP). I was able to generate a SIP INVITE with help of switch_ivr_originate(). I was also able to add the required Multipart Text part in the INVITE. However, I am not sure how to proceed with adding new SDP part.... (In below sample message, I was able to generate everything in Green but nothing in RED) So my question is this, where should I make changes to add to SDP. Any help is appreciated Thanks Akshay Patil P.S.: --azdjBtlKrjBegB325WctViTwT8ZOCf9p Content-Type: application/sdp Content-Length: 407 ... a=fmtp:96 0-16 m=application 4121 UDP MCPTT c=IN IP4 172.23.33.63 a=fmtp:MCPTT mc_queueing;mc_priority=5;mc_granted;mc_implicit_request a=sendrecv --azdjBtlKrjBegB325WctViTwT8ZOCf9p Content-Type: application/vnd.3gpp.mcptt-info+xml Content-Length: 513 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <mcpttinfo xmlns="urn:3gpp:ns:mcpttInfo:1.0" xmlns:xsi=" http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> ... --azdjBtlKrjBegB325WctViTwT8ZOCf9p--

[Freeswitch-dev] Verto communicator client not working on Edge when we use our freeswitch server
by Alejandro Castera 02 Jan '19

Dear members, . We can use the verto communicator client to join a conference handled by our own Freeswitch server and using the default 'stun:stun.l.google.com:19302' Google STUN server. . It works on Chrome, Firefox and Opera, on which we can connect ok and get audio+video. . But it does NOT work on Edge. . When using Chrome we can see one of the ICE Candidates DOES have the client public IP. . But when running the client on Edge we do NOT see such candidate. . What it is interesting is that if we don't use our Freeswitch server but the one hosted in cantina.freeswitch.org then the verto client CAN connect ok and we get audio+video (although we noticed that even in this case we still not see the ICE Candidate with the client public IP in the SDP offer). . So my question is if the Freewitch server in cantina.freeswitch.org is doing something "special" to retrieve the client public IP from the signaling messages or something like that. . By the way, we already set the following params in the verto conf: <param name="apply-candidate-acl" value="localnet.auto"/> <param name="apply-candidate-acl" value="wan_v4.auto"/> <param name="apply-candidate-acl" value="rfc1918.auto"/> <param name="apply-candidate-acl" value="any_v4.auto"/> If you can give us any hints it would be much appreciated. Regards, Alex
