OZ: possible issue with false positives in Q931IsIEPresent macro

FYI, After much pain I am able to say that I can consistently reproduce this scenario: In zap_isdn.c, function zap_isdn_931_34, I can always get the Q931IsIEPresent macro to see a cause ie, whether one is present or not. If you think this is jira-worthy I'll post a new issue, otherwise if you know why the gen->Cause is always showing up as present I'd be happy to fix and test. For the record, the test is a bitwise AND, where the "cause" value is ANDed against 0x8000. Since the gen->Cause value seems always to be 0x8000, whether it is present or not, it always comes up as true. Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions. -MC

Events are not the same for an outbound to inbound call than an normal inbound call

I have 2 IVR scenarios, one is outbound and the other is inbound. Those scenarios are the opposite from each other. The purpose of having this setup is to test the IVR scenario. So, outbound IVR originate a call to a DNIS. This DNIS is linked to the same T1 that my outbound call. When received, the inbound call should link with my inbound IVR. But the events are not the same from an outbound to inbound and a normal inbound. In an outbound to inbound call, freeswitch don't use the information contain in the variables of the originate command to set Caller_ID_Name, Caller_ID_Number and Caller_ANI. Instead, freeswitch fill those variables with what is look like default value and Caller_ANI is not even included in the event. Thanks. SL

PRI/OZ Question: In-band Busy signal

FYI, I think possibly I found a case where the OZ/PRI needs to change from PROGRESS to PROGRESS_MEDIA: http://pastebin.freeswitch.org/4628 In this case I'm getting two PROGRESS messages in a row. The raw Q931 messages are: [08 02 80 0c 03 1e 02 81 88] [08 02 80 0c 03 08 02 81 91 1e 02 81 88] The second progress msg includes: 08 02 81 91 which means: 08 = Cause IE 02 = two octets/bytes 81 = 1000 0001 = pvt network serving local user 91 = 1001 0001 = Cause number 17 = user busy I'm 99.9% sure that as soon as we get this PROGRESS info that we can act on it. The "import freepy" statement imports the freepy package, which will import all the names in freepy/__init__.py. You just need to add /path/to/freeswitch/scripts/socket to your PYTHONPATH environment variable and it should be able to find the freepy package. Guys, I made a list by grepping and perling around in the source. grep -Pr "c(.)(\s+)switch_channel_set_variable\(channel, \"" * | grep -v "Binary" > /tmp/chan_vars.tmp This gave me a massive list of all filenames and occurrences of "switch_channel_set_variable" with a channel variable explicitly named in quotes. I then filtered out stuff with svn in the source filename and then create a tab-separated list of chan variables and source filenames. Finally, I distilled that list with this script: perl -n -e 'm/(\w+)\t(.*)/;next if (exists($seen{$1}));print $1 . "\t" . $2 . "\n";$seen{$1}=$2;' /tmp/chan_vars3.tmp This yielded a nice list of variables. Could we have Job-UUID in a separate line?

Could we have Job-UUID as a separate fields. It can be parse easily, but its event easier to have it just like others response fields. so in bgapi reply, we will get: Content-Type: command/reply Reply-Text: +OK Job-UUID: e0d64b14-3327-11dd-96f6-6fa9e94f364f Johny K.
