[Freeswitch-dev] mod_mono Build
by David Brazier 04 Oct '08

04 Oct '08

Hi I have made a number of fixes and additions to mod_mono/mod_mono_managed so that: - It builds on Linux (non-managed and managed parts) - It works when FreeSWITCH is embedded in a Mono program. I'd like to submit these changes to the project - how would I do that? Raise a Jira item? The versioning of the SWIG-generated files (mod_mono/freeswitch_wrap.cxx and mod_mono_managed/swig/*.cs) is problematic - since mod_mono managed attempts to wrap the entire core FreeSWITCH library, when the library functions change, then the mod_mono SWIG should be run again. Otherwise, mod_mono may try to call functions that have changed their interface (though perhaps that is rare). So it would be ideal if the SWIG stage were just part of the FreeSWITCH build. Is it safe to assume that SWIG is available when building FreeSWITCH? Perhaps it is is used in other modules? [Freeswitch-dev] Openzap Fxo pre-answer
by Simon Capper 03 Oct '08

03 Oct '08

I have an fxo port with an incoming call, somewhere when the call is being routed to the destination a pre-answer is happening and taking the FXO off-hook and playing ringback to the FXO caller. This causes billing to start on the incoming call, is there a way to prevent the FXO being taken off hook during pre-answer, is this because the FXO port is generating audio packets? Thanks, Simon

[Freeswitch-dev] Channel variables from openzap
by Simon Capper 03 Oct '08

03 Oct '08

I want to access channel variables from an ozmod module in openzap. I can't see a way to do it in the current code. I'd like to add the feature and provide a patch for openzap when I'm done. I'm thinking of adding a void pointer that could be passed down via zap_channel_open that could be then be used from the ozmod modules? Mod_openzap would set the pointer to a function that would give access to channel variables. Thoughts? Simon

[Freeswitch-dev] Small request for switch_ivr_record_file
by Christian Jensen 03 Oct '08

Could I possibly ask for a debug statement that indicates where the record file is recording to? I would really love the lenght of the file as well. Gracias! Maybe: http://fisheye.freeswitch.org/browse/FreeSWITCH/src/switch_ivr_play_say.c?r…

[Freeswitch-dev] Force voicemail number in the standard voicemail greeting
by Mikael A. Bjerkeland 02 Oct '08

02 Oct '08

Is there a way to alter the number spelled out in the standard voicemail greeting? Instead of saying polycom501 which is the mailbox I'd like it to say 21650994 by setting a variable before calling voicemail. I found the voicemail_greeting_number variable, but setting it does not have the desired effect.

[Freeswitch-dev] Inter-domain presence between profiles
by Mikael A. Bjerkeland 02 Oct '08

02 Oct '08

I see there were some changes to presence handling in FS, where two profiles can share the same presence information. One of the profiles apparently has to be configured with force-register-domain which breaks a multi-domain setup. Is presence not supposed to be shared between profiles and domains?
