improvement to chose the available idle interface in mod_skypopen
by sparklezou 11 Apr '14

11 Apr '14

Hi All, There are several limitation for skype account, such as the time length. Would like to implement such features with database, such as SQLite, 1. Input tatal available time for the account, during the period, one month or one season. 2. recoder the start time, end time for each call via this account. Then caculate the left available time of this account. 3. Get the available account to bridge the call, caculated from db. Is there implemented script or source code? Is there any suggestion? Thanks! 2014-02-28 sparklezou

MediaWiki->Confluence Migration (Call Tomorrow April 9th 2014 1PM Central)
by Brian West 09 Apr '14

09 Apr '14

FreeSWITCHers, We are starting the migration from MediaWiki, we’ve tried various ways to import the data we have now and it didn’t end well at all. We would have to do more work to fix all those broken links. So we are fleshing out the new layout and migrating the data little by little from MediaWiki to Confluence. If you want an account to the sandbox area to assist in migrating the documentation we have, formatting it and reading thru it as we migrate it over from MediaWiki, Please contact wking(a)freeswitch.org for an account. Tomorrow at 1PM Central we will have a call in sip:888@conference.freeswitch.org or +1-919-386-9900. If you’re interested in helping out please show up. We do need as many hands as possible working on this to get it done quickly. Once the migration is complete we’ll go thru and fill in docs on areas that are currently either missing or not well thought out. The new wiki will not copy the layout exactly that is on MediaWiki but more well thought out TOC. To view our work in progress please visit http://confluence.freeswit.ch This is the time for everyone that can’t contribute code to step up and give back. You can get information about Confluence here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Confluence+User%27s+Guide Hope to see a few people there tomorrow. mod_fifo different behaviour on dialing out.
by Johny Kadarisman Kwan 03 Apr '14

03 Apr '14

I'm trying to use mod_fifo where Freeswitch will dialout to reach "agent". but bump with some odd behaviour. Below are scenario that demostrate this different behaviour : ext.5001 -> FS send invite to each destination one by one sequentially ext.5002 -> FS send invite to all destination simultaneously I'm looking to use dynamic fifo method as on ext.5002, but wanted FS to do invite sequentially as on ext.5001. Is there anything i should do on 5002? ======== <extension name="fifo_demo"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^5001$"> <action application="set" data="fifo_music=$${hold_music}"/> <action application="answer"/> <action application="sleep" data="1000"/> <action application="fifo" data="test in"/> </condition> </extension> <extension name="fifo_demo"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^5002$"> <action application="set" data="fifo_music=$${hold_music}"/> <action application="answer"/> <action application="sleep" data="1000"/> <action application="set" data="api_result=${fifo_member(add Q8888 {origination_caller_id_number=5555895111,group_confirm_key=1}sofia/gateway/gw1/+11232299975 1 20 20)}"/> <action application="set" data="api_result=${fifo_member(add Q8888 {origination_caller_id_number=5555895111,group_confirm_key=1}sofia/gateway/gw1/+11232299976 1 20 20)}"/> <action application="set" data="api_result=${fifo_member(add Q8888 {origination_caller_id_number=5555895111,group_confirm_key=1}sofia/gateway/gw1/+11232299977 1 20 20)}"/> <action application="fifo" data="Q8888 in"/> </condition> </extension> ================== fifo.conf ======================== <configuration name="fifo.conf" description="FIFO Configuration"> <settings> <param name="delete-all-outbound-member-on-startup" value="false"/> </settings> <fifos> <fifo name="cool_fifo@$${domain}" importance="0">  </fifo> <fifo name="test" importance="0"> <member timeout="20" simo="1" lag="20">{origination_caller_id_number=5555895111,group_confirm_key=1}sofia/gateway/gw1/11232299975</member> <member timeout="20" simo="1" lag="20">{origination_caller_id_number=5555895111,group_confirm_key=1}sofia/gateway/gw1/11237896776</member> <member timeout="20" simo="1" lag="20">{origination_caller_id_number=5555895111,group_confirm_key=1}sofia/gateway/gw1/11232299977</member> </fifo> </fifos> </configuration>

Eavesdrop with WebRTC clients - part 2
by Yan Brenman 28 Mar '14

28 Mar '14

Dear FreeSWITCH gurus, with the sigh of relief I am happy to acknowledge that I got the "eavesdrop" working with WebRTC clients - both video and audio. The solution is definitely not permanent, but provides good enough workaround to move forward with my project. Also, quality of audio is a bit questionable, but this is something I can deal with later. Here is an immediate problem I ran into and would like to ask your help with. For some reason eavesdropping on the call only starts working after 2 - 2.5 minutes after the outbound call leg (the one which is eavesdropping) has been established. Another words, only after anywhere between 2 and 2.5 minutes I start seeing video and hear audio from the channel I am eavesdropping on. Any piece of advice is greatly appreciated. If not the definite answer - at very least please tell me what to suspect and where to look. Although I am pretty sure you already know the answer. Greatly appreciate your help Yan
