Automation of calls?
by Bhavesh Soni 14 Jul '14

14 Jul '14

Guys, Are there APIs available to automate calls in freeswitch. DIALING: TIll now using mod_lua, I have tried "originate"; And I am able to establish a call(again tweaking some logs, i found endpoint URI and used this with originate); In logs I can see multiple UUIDs generated, and I dont know which one is the correct for the session initiated with which I can answer from other end. Answering: On other side, to answer incoming call, I am not able to find or do anything as of now. I have tried uuid_answer; but with no luck.(I tried uuid_answer with all different UUID I saw at originate), But no luck. Apart from these, are there other approaches. I am using freeswitch version 1.2.1(I know quite an old; but I dont have much liberty to update this.) -- Regards Bhavesh GS LAB (O) +91 20 4671 1256 (M) +91 86000 64681

RTCP Sender report in v1.2.stable
by Julien Chavanton 07 Jul '14

07 Jul '14

Hi Folks, We are using using adaptive codecs such as Silk and Opus with Freeswitch, in order to benefit from "ptime", "bitrate" and other adaptive behaviour provided by the codec we need RTCP sender reports (and later RCTP XR) We have implemented RTCP sender statistics in Freeswitch from branch v1.2.stable We would to submit this modification to the project. Attached is a git patch. At this point it was tested in a lab only, we will make further review and validation. But I have not doubt the best review we can get is from this list. Much appreciated, Julien

Dynamic gateway with freeswitch
by Steve Ng 04 Jul '14

04 Jul '14

Hi, My scenario is as follows: my users subscribed to a sip trunk provider each having their own sip account and I want them to connect as such: their browser to JSSIP to to Freeswitch then to the sip trunk end point when making. Given that freeswitch have the public gateway concept, can I dynamically change the gateway username and password to the ones provided by the user? Or would there be an alternative solution? Regards, Steve
