I would like to thank everyone that came out to ClueCon this year! We had a lot of feedback from this year's ClueCon regarding video transcoding in FreeSWITCH. If anyone is interested in sponsoring this effort either by helping out with coding, testing or funding the project, please contact consulting(a)freeswitch.org and let us know how you'd like to get involved. [Freeswitch-dev] mod_python always gives an error at first dialplan call
by Nuno Reis 20 Aug '14

20 Aug '14

Hi guys. I'm experiencing a weird behavior with the new FS 1.4. Everytime i call a python script in the dialplan after a reboot i always got an error similar to this: 2014-08-18 07:03:26.341145 [ERR] mod_python.c:293 Error calling python script 2014-08-18 07:03:26.341145 [ERR] mod_python.c:164 Python Error by calling script "stable.disa": <type 'exceptions.AttributeError'> Message: 'PySwigObject' object has no attribute 'sleep' This only happens with the first call after a restart. After that everything works fine. I never saw this in FS 1.2 Any ideas on why? Thanks. *Note:* I'm using FS Version 1.4.8 64bit Cheers, -- *Nuno Miguel Reis* | *Unified Communication** Systems* M. +351 913907481 | nreis(a)wavecom.pt WAVECOM-Soluções Rádio, S.A. [Freeswitch-dev] ClueCon Video Cameras for Sale!!
by Ken Rice 14 Aug '14

14 Aug '14

Hey FreeSWITCHers, Here¹s your chance to own a little Piece of ClueCon 2014. I have 2 Cannon Vixia HF R500 HD camcorder setups used only for Recording Video at ClueCon! ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HLDFTRS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie =UTF8&psc=1 ) Included with the Camera is a Tripod and 2 SD Cards (all were purchased brand new just to use @ ClueCon). Whats included with the camera? Battery, Charger, cables for HDMI and USB, 2 x 32G SD Cards (good for 4hours of 1080P Video per card), and a Tripod with a carrying bag for the tripod. All original Docs are included. Sorry the Original boxes were sacrificed in Chicago at the train station so I could make it home with the cameras. I am asking $350 for each Kit! (the camera alone is worth that!) Contact me off list if you have any questions or you want to add one to your list of toys from ClueCon. -- Ken http://www.FreeSWITCH.org http://www.ClueCon.com http://www.OSTAG.org irc.freenode.net #freeswitch Twitter: @FreeSWITCH

[Freeswitch-dev] Freeswitch Dialer using SIPml5
by sami sakly 13 Aug '14

13 Aug '14

As it appears from the thread title I'm new to Freeswitch and Voip solution. So please excuse my ignorance if I didn't get you from the first time. I'm building a Dialer as solution for small compaign based on freeswitch. The main idea is that when agent are present : I'm not sure they call fs server or it calls them and starting dialing customers from a database and whenever a client pick up the phone : it's automatically bridged to one of the free agent (already parked and waiting). What I have now ? : *Freeswitch & webrtc2sip working on my server. *SIPml5 Client issuing calls and working I tried also to write some php script to run from a client host , that calls 2 sip client and do the bridging. What I want to do now ? : I'm looking for a way to apply my business model automatically : 1- Calling agent and parking 2- Dialling customers and whenever it's picked up bridge to a free agent My questions : will it be possible to do this with only dialplans or I need to have some external script ? Where exactly I can use fs events ? I will need them on the php app to create control on dialling client parameters and for bridging. That seems a lot but I hope I will not be disappointed =) Thank you,
