Were you able to click through all of those warnings and get to the main VC++ window? From there press F7 to build the project. Let me know if you got that far. -MC Sent from my iPhone On Dec 20, 2008, at 2:25 PM, Yours <huyours(a)163.com> wrote: > Dear Friend, > > I installed VC++ 2008 express and TortoiseSVN and check out all > files from http://svn.freeswitch.org/svn/freeswitch/trunk. > > When I open Freeswitch.2008.sln in VC++ 2008 express, it responsed > me, this version does not supplort solution folder,the Codecs folder > will be disable.and many same alarm window following. [Freeswitch-dev] Interface Freeswitch Conference to MSVAD/Windows Media Encoder
by comments＠freecle.com 22 Dec '08

22 Dec '08

Does anyone know how to get audio from a freeswitch conference into WME? I have been using a sip call from the freeswitch box to a softphone on a windows server, then a Virtual Audio Cable (VAC)connection from the softphone output to WME ... WME sees it as a windows audio device. However, VAC is closed source and has some other issues. Has anyone managed to do this in another way? It would be really nice to have an open-source virtual soundcard device operating on the same windows machine with freeswitch server and WME and the windows streaming engine. Also, I have been working on modifying the MSVAD-Simple example WDF driver to work with the freeswitch conference on windows. Has anyone else been doing this? If so, some sample code or whatever you can tell me would be appreciated. Thanks. Edward Seattle

[Freeswitch-dev] Build on VC++ 2008 Express
by Yours 20 Dec '08

20 Dec '08

Dear Friend, I installed VC++ 2008 express and TortoiseSVN and check out all files from http://svn.freeswitch.org/svn/freeswitch/trunk. When I open Freeswitch.2008.sln in VC++ 2008 express, it responsed me, this version does not supplort solution folder,the Codecs folder will be disable.and many same alarm window following. Then when I compiled, it failed definetelly. Michel told me he succeded in first time on vc++ 2008 express. I am confused why I could not . Who are building with VC++ 2008, could you share your more experience? London Hood.

[Freeswitch-dev] FreeSWITCH Infrastructure / Happy Holidays!
by Brian West 16 Dec '08

16 Dec '08

FreeSWITCers, As the project grows I felt the need for the project to own the critical infrastructure hosting things like SVN, Jira, Fisheye and various other things we as a project use. I have personally paid for two servers that Bandwidth.com is going to be colocating for the project in their data center. Teliax paid for and shipped me the two 3ware raid1 cards for the machines which was a great help. The servers are going into production after the first of the year and in the process we are rebuilding everything to allow for single sign on for every service on the FreeSWITCH project. The servers are in the hands of bandwidth.com to be racked up so we can start deployment, as you can see we have our work cut out for us with the integration and rebuild of our entire infrastructure. ;) If you wish to pitch in my personal paypal is brian(a)freeswitch.org or you can use chipin http://www.chipin.com/contribute/id/ddc094318ae5ab5b I would like to thank Bandwidth.com and Teliax for their support... I hope others will help out! Also we have another sounds order going in sometime near the end of January so any money that exceeds the server cost will go to that. The sound order I placed monday will be in this Friday. Happy Holidays and wish you the best for 2009! Thanks, Brian West FreeSWITCH

I have also been building with Release mode and discovered the uninitialized anomally to - also wondered why it only shows in Release. Anyways I have been running release builds (last update two weeks ago) with no abnormal results. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Jerris" <mike(a)jerris.com> To: freeswitch-dev(a)lists.freeswitch.org Sent: Tuesday, December 16, 2008 7:17:04 AM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-dev] windows release build We have not done a ton of testing on any release builds, but its probably fine. That error btw was totally correct, I wonder why it didn't show up in the debug builds. Hello, I had a small problem with visual studio 2008 release build. It was complaining about an uninitialized variable. Or is it not a godd idea to build with release? [Freeswitch-dev] [POST-1.0.2][RFC][PATCH 0/2] Fine-grained logging: per-session logging
by stkn＠freeswitch.org 15 Dec '08

15 Dec '08

Hi, the following series of patches adds a per-session logging capability (patch 1) and converts a part of mod_sofia over to use the new functions as an example (patch 2). Note: This is one of two possible ways to implement the feature... (see below) Why?: Some of "us" are running fs with high call volumes and turning on debugging globally causes massive amounts of space used and reduced performance. This patch extends the logging api to be able to change the log level for e.g. a single session (either from the dialplan or via API command / C API) for diagnosing problems. How?: The core patch adds a couple of new functions: switch_core_session_log_printf(switch_core_session_t *, ...) switch_core_session_set_loglevel() switch_core_session_get_loglevel() A new API command "uuid_loglevel <uuid> <level>" (mod_commands.c) and a dialplan app "session_loglevel" (mod_dptools.c part of the core patch) are included. The default loglevel of a session is the current global log level. All instances of switch_log_printf() that log session-specific messages need to be converted to the new log function for this to be useful! (The second patch has the changes for mod_sofia.c) Alternative implementation: There's a second way to implement this feature, without adding another log_printf function: switch_log_printf has a "userdata" parameter that is currently unused, which could be used to pass an additional value (e.g. a session) by adding additional SWITCH_*_LOG helper macros. A session log call could look like this: switch_log_printf(SWITCH_SESSION_LOG(session), SWITCH_LOG_DEBUG, "I'm a session debug message\n"); Pro: - Can be extended for other type of log actions (e.g. if we want to implement even more fine-grained logging, per-module etc.) without adding more switch_*_log_printf functions Con: - More work for switch_log_printf() Now it's up to you to discuss which way we want to go and if this feature is deemed useful :P Stefan P.S.: The patches are available via http too: http://oss.axsentis.de/people/stkn/freeswitch/fs-r10758-session_loglevel.pa… http://oss.axsentis.de/people/stkn/freeswitch/fs-r10758-session_loglevel-co… Diffstat of the core patch: include/private/switch_core_pvt.h | 1 include/switch_core.h | 15 ++++++++++ include/switch_log.h | 18 +++++++++++++ mod/applications/mod_commands/mod_commands.c | 37 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++ mod/applications/mod_dptools/mod_dptools.c | 19 +++++++++++++ switch_core_session.c | 15 ++++++++++ switch_log.c | 34 ++++++++++++++++++++---- 7 files changed, 133 insertions(+), 6 deletions(-) -- Stefan Knoblich Systemadministrator axsentis GmbH Eupener Strasse 74 50933 Köln Tel: 0180 - 506 705 521* Fax: 0180 - 506 705 529* E-Mail: s.knoblich(a)axsentis.de Web: www.axsentis.de Eingetragen beim AG Köln: HR B 56238 UST-ID: DE244977565 Gesellschafter-Geschäftsführer: Yan Lecomte, Eduard Schlein, Apostolos Varsamis *14ct/min aus dem Festnetz der T-Com | dtms
