Confluence Code Macro - wordwrap
by Ítalo Rossi 27 Apr '15

27 Apr '15

Bote, Can you check if the code macro is configured to do wordwrap by default? I don't have the right permissions to do it, you can check this on the plugin configuration. We need to enable the wordwrap on this dependencies box: https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/FreeSWITCH+1.6+Video#F…

Code contains links to wiki
by jungle Boogie 25 Apr '15

25 Apr '15

Hello All, Please ensure you CC me if you reply. I'm not subscribed to the list. I have noticed that /usr/local/src/freeswitch and /usr/local/freeswitch contain many URLs to wiki.freeswitch.org Here's a small sample: conf/autoload_configs/nibblebill.conf.xml:3: conf/autoload_configs/tts_commandline.conf.xml:11: http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Mod_tts_commandline#Example_commands conf/autoload_configs/conference.conf.xml:1: conf/dialplan/features.xml:1: conf/dialplan/default.xml:12: conf/dialplan/public.xml:12: In this example, the full path would be: /usr/local/src/freeswitch/ Is this intentional? When you go to the links, you're informed the wiki is locked. I'm following version: FreeSWITCH version: 1.5.15b+git~20150421T235828Z~a4d877c189~32bit (git a4d877c 2015-04-21 23:58:28Z 32bit) Thanks! -- ------- inum: 883510009027723 sip: jungleboogie(a)sip2sip.info xmpp: jungle-boogie(a)jit.si

App transfer_vars

https://freeswitch.org/stash/projects/FS/repos/freeswitch/commits/6a4c2b340… <action application="set" data="execute_on_pre_bridge_01 =transfer_vars::~my_super_var_"/> Will transfer any variables from A to B that start with my_super_var_ Without the ~ its basically the same as doing a set on the b-leg. This is an app to allow bulk copy of vars with prefix from A to B and is tech agnostic. -- *Brian West* brian(a)freeswitch.org *Twitter: @FreeSWITCH , @briankwest* http://www.freeswitchbook.com http://www.freeswitchcookbook.com ClueCon 2015 Call for Speakers <https://www.cluecon.com/call-for-speakers/> | Register <https://freeswitch.com/cart.php?gid=1> TODAY! | Reddit: /r/freeswitch <https://www.reddit.com/r/freeswitch> *T:*+19184209001 | *F:*+19184209002 | *M:*+1918424WEST (9378) *iNUM:*+883 5100 1420 9001 | *ISN:*410*543 | *Skype:*briankwest

DOC Sprint Apr 10
by Ítalo Rossi 09 Apr '15

09 Apr '15

Hi Everyone, We are organizing an other Sprint to work on FreeSWITCH Documentation on Friday 10 April 2015 at 10am CT. It will be 4 hours long but you can join for less time. The Doc-sprint will focus on migrating the remaining pages from old FS Wiki (https://wiki.freeswitch.org) to Confluence ( https://freeswitch.org/confluence) We will use this IRC channel during the sprint: #freeswitch-docs and we will be tracking our work on a spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qsG-kRymvKlNBapnBLw86W130VdbnK6naYa… to avoid working on the same content. So during the sprint, please change the page ""Status"" you are working on to ""Editing"" with your name next to it. Some extra information: - https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/Wiki+Migration - https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/Contributing+Documenta… Let us know if you have any question. We hope to get a maximum number of people signed up! So, who is in? Confirmed: Italo (+4) Areski Bote -- Ítalo Rossi

call forwarding
by Nicholas Schoonover 09 Apr '15

09 Apr '15

I added some documentation around the logic that forwards calls to the 'is_forward' extension. I am new to Freeswitch and was stuck on how to set up call forwarding for a bit. I thought some more instruction around this area would help people who are new to the concepts in Freeswitch. Is this change logical? In my personal set up I put this application, <action application="set" data="call_forwarding_number=${hash(select/${domain_name}-call_forward/${destination_number})}"/> into the 'check_call_forwarding' extension and got rid of the 'call_forwarding_number' extension. This made sense to me because it sets 'call_forwarding_number' in the extension before 'is_forward' rather than at the end of the dialplan. Am I misunderstanding something? Would this be a more logical way to format the documentation? I used this as my check call forwarding extension and did away with the 'call_forwarding_number' extension at the bottom. <extension name="check_call_forwarding" continue="true"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^(\d+)$"> <action application="set" data="call_forwarding_number=${hash(select/${domain_name}-call_forward/${destination_number})}"/> <action application="execute_extension" data="is_forward XML features"/> <action application="bridge" data="sofia/internal/$1@${domain_name}"/> </condition> </extension> Sorry if I am being unclear or am misunderstanding something. Thanks, Nicholas Schoonover
