[Freeswitch-docs] mod dptools children
by Bote Man 19 Nov '14

19 Nov '14

Dear Docs Team ;-) The page mod_dptools contains links to dialplan applications and commands, most of which still point to the old wiki because this page was copied from the old wiki. I have discovered the Confluence macro {children that will populate automatically with child pages. It also provides the option to include the contents of the {excerpt macro contained on the child pages. As an example see "Answer" and "Break" commands on https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/mod_dptools Sadly, it provides no grouping to make it pretty, but I did select to order it by page title alphabetically. The good news is that as pages are added under mod_dptools this macro will automatically include the link to the child page and the contents of any excerpt macro on the child page, which should be a short sentence describing the command. What do you think of this idea? Bote

[Freeswitch-docs] FS Docs spreadsheet
by Bote Man 19 Nov '14

19 Nov '14

I started at the top of the Confluence outline pane (on the left) and checked if the spreadsheet showed it other than "pending". I corrected a good many and also found more than a handful of duplicates. It seems that redirected pages on the old wiki still showed up as separate pages on the spreadsheet, so this was a happy way to mark off more pages :-) I stopped at the end of the mod_ tree, time to get some sleep. Hi everyone, We are organizing a sprint on Friday *14 November* at 11am CT. It will be 4 hours long but you can join for less time. We hope to get a maximum number of people signed up! We will use an FS IRC channel during the sprint: #freeswitch-docs and will track our work on the spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qsG-kRymvKlNBapnBLw86W130VdbnK6naYa… During the sprint, please change the URL's "Status" you are working on to "Editing" with your name next to it so we don't duplicate work. Confirmed so far for the Sprint: - Italo Rossi (+6): working on dptools - Areski Belaid : working on mod_* pages Who is in?

It should be included in https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/XML+Dialplan#XMLDialpl… , we are in the process of moving this page to the confluence. There'll be a sprint next Friday (more information later) to migrate pages from old wiki to confluence, this page will have special attention. [Freeswitch-docs] Reporting A Bug with Jira

Old Page: https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Reporting_Bugs#Reporting_A_Bug_With_JIRA New Page Missing a lot of information vs the old wiki: https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/Reporting+Bugs+to+JIRA Maybe we can have a call to discuss the whole Troubleshooting and Debugging section to get some better direction? [Freeswitch-docs] Help on the way - Wiki migration sprint
by Ítalo Rossi 10 Nov '14

10 Nov '14

Guys, We're planning to do a mass migration tomorrow here at my company. So, I need write permission on these accounts: jonatas(a)evolux.net.br / jonatasoliveira lucas(a)evolux.net.br / lucasmcastro max(a)evolux.net.br / maximiliano gabriel(a)evolux.net.br / ggalvao luan(a)evolux.net.br / luan They are all familiar with FreeSWITCH. Before the sprint I'll show the guidelines and confluence basics. We'll focus on mod_dptools, but if you have a more important section to be migrated first, please let me know. I'm planning to do this sprint more times. Let's get this migration done! -- Ítalo Rossi
