Re: [Freeswitch-docs] [Freeswitch-users] invalidating entries in http_cache?

I have added the API example on Confluence. When Chris replies with an example of the file parameter I will add that as well. FYI: FS-7323 was just committed to master that provides new ways to invalidate cached files. new API: http_cache_remove <url> new file param: {refresh=true} Also- if you want your cached files to be refreshed sooner, set the expiration server side with max-age or change the default config if max-age is not set. I don't believe there is a checksum mechanism, but that would do the trick. Is there a way to force-download a URL? Neither http_pre_fetch nor http_get does this. I don't see any way in the docs, so am considering managing this independently and manually removing files from the http_cache folder when we overwrite a source file. > > Thanks, > Neil > _________________________________________________________________________ > Professional FreeSWITCH Consulting Services: > consulting(a)freeswitch.org > http://www.freeswitchsolutions.com > > Official FreeSWITCH Sites > http://www.freeswitch.org > http://confluence.freeswitch.org > http://www.cluecon.com > > FreeSWITCH-users mailing list > FreeSWITCH-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org > http://lists.freeswitch.org/mailman/listinfo/freeswitch-users > UNSUBSCRIBE:http://lists.freeswitch.org/mailman/options/freeswitch-users > http://www.freeswitch.org

[Freeswitch-docs] Inconsistency in mod_dptools pages
by Stanislav Sinyagin 18 Feb '15

18 Feb '15

hi, If you look at the children list of https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/mod_dptools you see that there are two ways of naming the pages: 1. By command name, like "detect_speech" 2. Long space-delimited name, like "mod_dptools: Dialplan Tools record session" What is the correct way of naming and linking pages? I guess it's #1, but I'm new to this Confluence, so I better follow some common standard. Also, https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/record has a broken link to "record_session" -- I guess I can modify it to refer to the Confluence page, as soon as the first question is resolved, right? cheers, stan

[Freeswitch-docs] API Reference page or pageS?
by Nickolas Oliver 17 Feb '15

17 Feb '15

First time posting to a mailing list, sorry if I'm Doing It Wrong™ I'm looking to transfer over the JavaScript API reference pages. I've noticed that there is a Lua evangelist<https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/Script+Language+Choice> and so have been looking at the Lua API Reference<https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/Lua+API+Reference> documentation implementation (single page). Someone has already moved one JS page over (apiExecute<https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/apiExecute>, indicating a page-per-API-point) but am wondering what the preferred format is. I'm sure everyone is aware of the virtues of consistent documentation styling so I won't reiterate. :) Thanks, Nick Oliver crexendo.com

[Freeswitch-docs] automating/assisting migration from mediawiki to confluence
by Jason Lewis 10 Feb '15

10 Feb '15

Hi Guys, Sorry if I have missed this discussion already. I did look in the archives and couldn't see anything. I've been thinking of ways to migrate a page from the old format that is stored in confluence to the new format. Has anyone looked at tools to assist this? Initially I thought regexs could help but of course that doesn't work well for html. What about writing some scripts in perl perhaps? or a tool that is designed for manipulating html.
