[Freeswitch-docs] Channel variables page
by Stanislav Sinyagin 29 Jan '18

29 Jan '18

hi, the channel variables page is getting extremely long and difficult to view and to edit. Maybe it makes sense to split it by modules? Whenever I need to check some variable, I search it in google and then click on the old wiki page :-)

[Freeswitch-docs] wrong page max-idle-cpu
by Antonio Silva 27 Jan '17

27 Jan '17

Hi team, This page i think is wrong: https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/Max-idle-cpu shouldn't it be min-idle-cpu instead of max-idle-cpu? no occurrences for max-idle-cpu in src code (git grep -E "max_idle_cpu|max_idle_cpu") -- Saludos / Regards / Cumprimentos, António silva

I believe that Brian (bkw) would like such suggestions for the upcoming FreeSWITCH version 1.8 release. Is there any process how I can propose such changes for example configs? Thank you! Jurijs

[Freeswitch-docs] All Wiki Pages Moved
by Bote Man 16 Jan '17

16 Jan '17

Areski's spreadsheet now reports that there are 0 (zero, cero, null) pages remaining in Pending status. The technical term for this is AWESOME! Many thanks to all who helped move this mountain of documentation from the old wiki to Confluence. Hopefully there will be no more moves like this J Now comes the important task of setting Labels to each page from the existing list of labels so that related pages may be found easily by readers. We must also update links on Confluence pages to the old wiki, but I'm hopeful that a script can provide a list of all such pages. I don't have the programming experience to develop such a script, so anyone who can help with that should offer to do so. We will be scheduling mini-sprints to take an hour or two each week to focus on these tasks. Of course, anybody can edit a page here and there at any time to help out. Special thanks to Team Evolux for their massive push these last few times to finish this huge job! Happy New Year! --- Bote FreeSWITCH Docs Janitor http://freeswitch.org/confluence

Re: [Freeswitch-docs] Docs Copy Sprint January 2017

Good morning, FreeSWITCH Docs Team! I am just returning home from a long night of fighting Cisco SPA phones that don’t want to provision themselves properly. Many of you are just starting your day in earlier time zones J Today let us concentrate on copying over files from the old wiki to Confluence. We can do the editing, labeling, link correcting, and pretty-fying later. This makes your job much quicker and easier today. Most importantly, immediately before you copy the page over to Confluence, change the page status to “Editing” on the spreadsheet; if you are really quick just change it to “Moved” so that the many other sprinters don’t copy the same page J https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qsG-kRymvKlNBapnBLw86W130VdbnK6naYa… We have 209 pages in Pending status, so we are getting close to the end. Maybe we finish all of them today? If an old wiki page looks empty or trivial, don’t even bother copying it, just mark it “Request-Delete” and one of the core developers will decide if it needs to be copied over. This can save you even more time! I will be joining the party late. I think the HipChat Docs channel might be the best if everybody has that since it has memory, unlike irc. Maybe if there is interest we can take over the Friday free-for-all on the 888 conference room J Thank you very much! --- Bote FreeSWITCH Docs Janitor <http://freeswitch.org/confluence> http://freeswitch.org/confluence From: freeswitch-docs-bounces(a)lists.freeswitch.org [mailto:freeswitch-docs-bounces@lists.freeswitch.org] On Behalf Of Areski Sent: Thursday, 05 January, 2017 04:51 To: FreeSWITCH Docs Team Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-docs] Docs Sprint January 2017 You can count on me :) Happy New year!
