by Edenilson Perin 13 Jan '14

13 Jan '14

Hello everyone, I have a group with some extensions: <group name="200"> <users> <user id="1001" type="pointer"/> <user id="1002" type="pointer"/> <user id="1003" type="pointer"/> </users> </group> and I bridge my calls this way: <action application="bridge" data="${group_call(200@${domain_name}+F)}"/> my problem is that I can't to intercept a specific extension, only the global intercept works. Thanks & regards. --

Setting CallBack API's in Mod_managed
by Srini K 13 Jan '14

13 Jan '14

Hi, How to set hooks like api_on_answer/execute_on_answer using mod_managed during originate. Iam able to get call back notification on Originate by ‘new Api().ExecuteString("originate channel/params &managed(Myclassname")) Iam not able to get notification on outbound answer. I want my API to be called. Sample code looks like… public void Run(AppContext context) { try { context.Session.Answer(); // Create UUID string OutboundUuid = new Api().ExecuteString("create_uuid"); string route = "{origination_caller_id_number=4154151234" + "}[origination_uuid=" + OutboundUuid + "]sofia/gateway/36/1234567890"; string dialPlan = "originate " + route + " '&managed(MyNameSpace.OutboundLeg)'"; new Api().ExecuteString(dialPlan); string bridgeResult = new Api().ExecuteString(string.Format("uuid_bridge {0} {1}", context.Session.GetUuid(), OutboundUuid)); } catch (Exception exception) { Log.WriteLine(LogLevel.Notice, exception.ToString()); } } public class OutboundLeg : IAppPlugin { public void Run(AppContext context) { // This is getting called on outboundleg orgination Log.WriteLine(LogLevel.Warning, "OutboundLeg Notified ------->"); } public void OnAnswer() { Log.WriteLine(LogLevel.Warning, "OutboundLeg OnAnswered ------->"); } public void OnAnswer(string uuid) { Log.WriteLine(LogLevel.Warning, "OutboundLeg OnAnswered ------->"); } } I want OutboundLeg.OnAnswer() to be called on outbound answer. I tried the following syntax but it didn’t work. originate {origination_caller_id_number=4154151234, nolocal:api_on_answer='managed MyNameSpace.OutboundLeg.OnAnswer OutboundUuid’}[origination_uuid=OutboundUuid]sofia/gateway/36/1234567890 '&managed(MyNameSpace.OutboundLeg)' originate {origination_caller_id_number=4154151234, nolocal:api_on_answer='&managed MyNameSpace.OutboundLeg.OnAnswer OutboundUuid’}[origination_uuid=OutboundUuid]sofia/gateway/36/1234567890 '&managed(MyNameSpace.OutboundLeg)' Also tried setting the Session variable on the outbound leg by outboundSession.SetVariable("export", "nolocal:api_on_answer='managed MyNameSpace.OutboundLeg.OnAnswer"); Also tried execute_on_answer instead of api_on_answer. Please do let me know the correct syntax to use execute_on_answer/api_on_answer. Note: I was able to play the prompt on outbound answer by calling system api originate {origination_caller_id_number=4154151234, api_on_answer='uuid_broadcast OutboundUuid prompt.wav both'}[origination_uuid=OutboundUuid]sofia/gateway/36/1234567890 '&managed(MyNameSpace.OutboundLeg)' Thanks Srini

Gateway Issues
by Ian McMaster 13 Jan '14

13 Jan '14

My provider is Babytel, in Canada. I am switching from Asterisk to Freeswitch. In Asterisk, I have the registration working. Porting to Freeswitch it is not clear to achieve: Note from Babytel: " Please note that babyTEL requires the use of the Outbound-Proxy feature now available in most new Asterisk versions. Also all SIP messages must be sent to the outbound proxy server nat.babytel.ca to UDP port 5065, but the Domain/Realm must remain sip.babytel.ca in the SIP headers. " http://ca.babytel.net/wp-content/manuals/Asterisk_babyTEL_Configuration_Gui… I have tried to use "register-proxy", but the "proxy" seems to be used instead when registering (sofia status shows data: sip:16477240904@nat.babytel.ca:5065). Here is the profile I am using, but is not registering (not using sip.babytel.ca:5060): <include> <gateway name="sip.babytel.ca"> <param name="username" value="16477270904"/> <param name="auth-username" value="16477270904"/> <param name="from-user" value="16477270904"/ <param name="from-domain" value="sip.babytel.ca"/> <param name="password" value="xxxxxxx"/> <param name="extension" value="16477270904"/> <param name="proxy" value="nat.babytel.ca:5065"/> <param name="register-proxy" value="sip.babytel.ca:5060"/> <param name="register" value="true"/> </gateway> </include> Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you, Ian.

GSMopen USB dongle permission denied
by Nandy Dagondon 12 Jan '14

12 Jan '14

Hi to all! mod_gsmopen doesn't load on CentOS x64. USB device permission denied: crw-crw---- 1 root dialout /dev/ttyUSB* To solve this problem, I found this solution somewhere - adding udev this more relax rule: KERNEL=="ttyUSB[0-9]*,NAME="ttyUSB%n",SYMLINK="%k",GROUP="dialout",MODE="0666" Lately, I tried this - making Freeswitch own the device: KERNEL=="ttyUSB[0-9]*,NAME="ttyUSB%n",SYMLINK="%k",OWNER="freeswitch",GROUP="dialout",MODE="0660" I'd like to add this on the Wiki unless there's a better solution. Please advise. /Nandy

Lua undefined symbol lua_getfield
by KPS Maillinglist 11 Jan '14

11 Jan '14

I'm wriiting because I can't seem to get Lua from within Freeswitch to load the luasql mysql object. The error on the freeswitch console states that there's a error loading module luasql.mysql' but when i run a script from the shell requiring the same file it works just fine. I did due diligience and researched the issue and seen someone state the proble is due to lua being compiled from C++ code and the mysql module being compiled from C source code. Any help will be greatly appreciated because none of my scripts work because they are all database driven. Bracketing or not bracketing
by Richard Mace 11 Jan '14

11 Jan '14

Hi, When you are setting up an inbound route, should you put brackets round the destination_number or not? That is, which of theses entries is correct/safer/will work? <condition field="destination_number" expression="^123456789$> or <condition field="destination_number" expression="^(123456789)$> Thanks in advance Richard

Peter Olsson announces mod_v8 on today's call (1800 UTC)
by Travis Cross 11 Jan '14

11 Jan '14

We'll be having Peter Olsson join us on today's conference call at 1800 UTC (which you can reach at sip:888@conference.freeswitch.org or http://conference.freeswitch.org/) He'll be talking about his new module, mod_v8, which is intended to replace mod_spidermonkey. This is exciting as the V8 Javascript engine is the clear way forward for supporting Javascript in FreeSWITCH. V8 has significant performance improvements, has an active upstream, and underlies other major projects like Node.js. Join us if you can to learn about this new addition to FreeSWITCH. We're making some changes to the format of the conference call for 2014. We'll be starting the call on time, and trying to keep the length of the call to under one hour so more busy people can join in. Best, -- TC
