by Anthony Minessale 01 Mar '07

01 Mar '07

Hi, One of our voulenteer developer/contributors has just decided to make a carreer move. Since he is familiar with Asterisk/OpenPBX/FreeSWITCH and has been a good supporter, I thought any employers who need a good VoIP developer would like to learn about this oppurtunity. http://www.hyperdyne.org/justinu_resume.pdf Anthony Minessale II FreeSWITCH http://www.freeswitch.org/ ClueCon http://www.cluecon.com/ AIM: anthm MSN:anthony_minessale@hotmail.com JABBER:anthony.minessale@gmail.com IRC: irc.freenode.net #freeswitch FreeSWITCH Developer Conference sip:888@66.250.68.194 iax:guest@66.250.68.194/888 googletalk:freeswitch@gmail.com pstn:712-432-7800

FreeSwitch and Xlite running at the same machine
by michael mendel 02 Jan '07

02 Jan '07

Hello when FreeSwitch and Xlite are running at the same machine I hear the dial test music "1234" fine. but when I use Xlite on other machine I have distortion and noisy line with the same dial test music "1234" , maybe the configuration of the Xlite on the other machine should be different or maybe the FS should have additional configuration for remote Xlite. 31 Dec '06

Hi all, Im interested in knowing if there are any hosted services of FreeSwitch. Basically Im a provider who provide termination services to callshops. Im looking for a cost effective switch to take my traffic and felt that Freeswitch having IAX2 support would be a great choice. Looking for some recommendations. Im not a good techie on Freeswitch, hence would like to know how i can proceed with a installation of freeswitch and the day to a functioning. Does it have a GUI to manage everything? Thanks in advance.. Wishing u all a very Happy and Prosperous 2007 Dan

Re: [Freeswitch-users] Freeswitch Dialplan question (bridging two outgoing calls)
by Anthony Minessale 29 Dec '06

29 Dec '06

that's not a common request but You could do that by launching a js script in the bg I think. <action application="eval" data="$jsrun(script.js arg1:arg2)"/> your call will end but you would launch script.js in it's own thread where it could bring up 2 extensions and bridge a call etc...
