Here is a little script that I have start to write to use with mod_xml_curl. It is nothing special. It is really a dirty little script, but it might be helpful in guiding a few people in the right direction. If you have any question please email me. http://pastebin.freeswitch.org/185 Next Step for the script: 1) clean it up. 2) Write sub functions for Error handling and Debugging 3) Write and interface with DB schema (I know this step is hard than it sounds) 4) Make dialplan section more dynamic (ditto) -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition. Version: 7.5.432 / Virus Database: 268.15.23/591 - Release Date: 17/12/2006 3:17 p.m.

Also to follow up, I used this imaginary api to design an imaginary high level counterpart for configuring prase flow from the xml registry: see: http://www.freeswitch.org/eg/say.xml a working draft on a way to use the config registry to build phrases by stringing together instructions in xml so you can call them from your ivr (voicemail etc) like in C switch_channel_set_variable(channel, "language", "en"); switch_core_session_execute_macro(session, "msgcount", 12); something like that... While it's imaginary it's much easier to code and change it around so provide feedback now =D Anthony Minessale II FreeSWITCH http://www.freeswitch.org/ ClueCon http://www.cluecon.com/ AIM: anthm MSN:anthony_minessale@hotmail.com JABBER:anthony.minessale@gmail.com IRC: irc.freenode.net #freeswitch FreeSWITCH Developer Conference sip:888@66.250.68.194 iax:guest@66.250.68.194/888 googletalk:freeswitch@gmail.com pstn:213-799-1400 ----- Original Message ---- From: Anthony Minessale <anthmct(a)yahoo.com> To: freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org Sent: Sunday, December 17, 2006 4:21:19 PM Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-users] [Freeswitch-dev] C SAY API pronounced would be like for 1400 pronounced would be: one thousand, four hundred iterated would be: one, four, zero, zero this could also possibly apply to dates etc Anthony Minessale II FreeSWITCH http://www.freeswitch.org/ ClueCon http://www.cluecon.com/ AIM: anthm MSN:anthony_minessale@hotmail.com JABBER:anthony.minessale@gmail.com IRC: irc.freenode.net #freeswitch FreeSWITCH Developer Conference sip:888@66.250.68.194 iax:guest@66.250.68.194/888 googletalk:freeswitch@gmail.com pstn:213-799-1400 ----- Original Message ---- From: Nikolay Kolev <me(a)nikolay.com> To: freeswitch-dev(a)lists.freeswitch.org; freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org Sent: Saturday, December 16, 2006 6:47:44 PM Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-users] [Freeswitch-dev] C SAY API The idea is great! With regards to the digits there are different formats around the world, 1,000,000 <- million 10,00,000 <- 10 Lakhs in india So a generic format for the number will be good, so in future if any new additions comes to the numbering system it will be easy to accomodate. [1] - unit [2] - tens [3] - hundreds [4-6] - thousands for india, [4-5] - Thousands [6-7] - Lakhs system will be good. A good analysis internationally will serve easier to expand the software internationally with less ease. If this flexibility is not sorted in the initial stage then user need to write own module to use in their country which I'm right now doing for asterisk, which is utter useless with the design of the application. Thanks. Hello All I would like to configure freeswitch to work with sip and IAX. I understand that I should use the freeswitch.xml file, than I should run the consle application or some other application to start the sip/IAX server. I prefer to have some manual for this configuration if it is exist. Regards, Michael Mendel
