Setting Effective caller id in User directory
by Siri MM 27 Jun '14

27 Jun '14

Hi, If I want to set caller id number of an extension for all out going calls to something other than the extension number, can this be set in the User settings under directory? I see a couple of examples for this in the Wiki, but for some reason, when i set this in the directory, reload (tried restarting freeswitch as well) and make a call from the extension, it seems to have no effect.

dial plan
by Andrew 27 Jun '14

27 Jun '14

Hi, I think I have an easy question but can't seem to find what I am looking for. I have a dial pan where I need to set a variable. I need time to look up my info so I put the call on park. I can't seem to unpark the call and continue. I did try sleep and that works but no way do I want a static amount of time to wait What are my options to give me time to set the variable? <action application="park"/> <action application="bridge" data="${my_dialstring}"/> Andrew

by Kamlesh 26 Jun '14

Hello, I'm using FreeSWITCH Version 1.5.13b+git~20140617T030106Z~990847638c~64bit and got one quick question. Once the call is bridged, Is there any way to get the call duration in active calls in fs_cli? freeswitch_licence_server starts without error but it is not working
by mayamatakeshi 26 Jun '14

26 Jun '14

After upgrading to FS commit af0ded1 (2014/03/18), freeswitch_licence_server it not working properly. It starts, but without outputting the expected XX channels of G.729A So it is alive [root@garam ~]# ps -e|grep fre 2021 ? 00:58:24 freeswitch 5777 ? 00:00:00 freeswitch_lice but i get this from fs_cli: [root@garam ~]# bancmd fs_cli ... freeswitch@192.168.88.58@internal> g729_info Can't contact licence server. However, this only happens in one host. On another host i get this: Scanning /etc/freeswitch/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.conf for licences Purchase code XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 20 channels of G.729A and it works fine. But since on the failed host freeswitch_licence_server doesn't output any error message, I don't know what would be the problem. Any tips on how to investigate this?
