Hello, Is it possible to remove inband DTMF from the RTP stream (when there is no RFC2833 DTMF) somehow or change dtmf to mono tones to not able to recover the original dtmf digits? If not, any idea how it could be done? Regards, jalsot
I have a carrier who's been unable to fix sending inband (usually?) + rfc2833. I'd also like to just drop the inband and not pass it along to remote gateways... Hmm, maybe I should check again if I can just rely on the inband and turn off rfc2833 and not pass that along. -Avi On Thu, Jun 26, 2014 at 5:10 PM, Tamas Jalsovszky <jalsot@gmail.com> wrote:

There was an interesting addition earlier: https://jira.freeswitch.org/browse/FS-4905 As far as I understood, this works only if there is RFC2833 and inband (concept is, that when FS receives an RFC2833 dtmf digit, it drops the jitterbuffer, which most probably holds the whole or part of dtmf tone). So it does not work for the case, when I have only inband or SIP INFO+inband. I don't know how to remove inband alone, probably through a jitterbuffer and dtmf detector....
