Secure Websocket
by Oleg Stolyar 23 May '14

23 May '14

Hi guys, in the latest Chrome a web socket connection from secure origin to an unsecure destination is deprecated. Is there a way to make a secure web socket connection to FreeSWITCH? I tried setting wss-binding var to a port value but it didn't work. Is there a plan to implement wss? Thank you Oleg

Question about fifo and SIP 200 OK response
by Siri MM 23 May '14

23 May '14

Hi, I observe that, on receiving an incoming call and placing it into a fifo, FS sends back a SIP 200 OK response to the caller. Is it feasible for me to avoid this, and rather send back SIP 180? I tried adding ring_ready application before fifo in, but the SIP 180 is succeeded by SIP 200.

Hi, Brian. We tied to find out something about "cipher suite issue" but can’t really understand what to do? - is there any suitable debug tools? - are we missing any settings? - can you please refer to appropriate manual/instructions, we didn’t manage to find anything useful Manu Thanks. ---------- Пересылаемое сообщение ---------- > From: Brian West <brian(a)freeswitch.org> > To: FreeSWITCH Users Help <freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org> > Cc: > Date: Wed, 21 May 2014 07:37:54 -0500 > Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-users] TLS not work after update > Its likely its a cipher suite issue. > -- > Brian West > brian(a)freeswitch.org > > > Twitter: @FreeSWITCH , @briankwest > http://www.freeswitchbook.com > http://www.freeswitchcookbook.com > > T: +1.918.420.9001 | F: +1.918.420.9002 | M: +1.918.424.WEST > iNUM: +883 5100 1420 9001 > ISN: 410*543 > Skype:briankwest > PGP Key: http://www.bkw.org/key.txt (AB93356707C76CED) > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > On May 21, 2014, at 5:01 AM, Sergey Zhuravlov <4orbit(a)gmail.com> wrote: > > Hi > > Most devices have ceased to register using TLS > > Happened after the upgrade: > 1) Debian 6 to version 7 > 2) update the FS version 1.3 to 1.5 -- recompile from sources > > Grandstream (GXW-4008 V1.3B) device - worked perfectly before the > update - ceased after. > Client on csipsimple - stopped working > > However, continue to operate successfully Linksys spa 9xx > > There are some ideas about the causes of such behavior? > > Someone knows some ways to debug this situation? > What to check? > Maybe something has changed in the settings of the new versions? > > That's the message in the log file: > > tport_type_tls.c:610 tport_tls_accept() tport_tls_accept(0x8726790): > new connection from tls/XXX.93.XXX.2:2136/sips > 2014-05-21 11:18:50.929674 [ALERT] mod_callcenter.c:519 Reuse Unused > Cached DB handle db="callcenter",type="core_db" [CORE_DB] > tport_tls.c:919 tls_connect() tls_connect(0x8726790): events NEGOTIATING > 2014-05-21 11:18:50.929674 [ALERT] switch_core_sqldb.c:233 Dropping > idle DB connection db="core",type="core_db" > tport_tls.c:919 tls_connect() tls_connect(0x8726790): events NEGOTIATING > tport_tls.c:1008 tls_connect() tls_connect(0x8726790): TLS setup > failed (error:00000001:lib(0):func(0):reason(1)) > tport.c:2090 tport_close() tport_close(0x8726790): > tls/XXX.93.XXX.2:2136/sips > > Thank you! > > -- > WBR, Sergey > > GTALK/JABBER:4orbit@gmail.com > > _________________________________________________________________________ > Professional FreeSWITCH Consulting Services: > consulting(a)freeswitch.org > http://www.freeswitchsolutions.com > > FreeSWITCH-powered IP PBX: The CudaTel Communication Server > http://www.cudatel.com > > Official FreeSWITCH Sites > http://www.freeswitch.org > http://wiki.freeswitch.org > http://www.cluecon.com > > FreeSWITCH-users mailing list > FreeSWITCH-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org > http://lists.freeswitch.org/mailman/listinfo/freeswitch-users > UNSUBSCRIBE:http://lists.freeswitch.org/mailman/options/freeswitch-users > http://www.freeswitch.org > > > > _______________________________________________ > FreeSWITCH-users mailing list > FreeSWITCH-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org > http://lists.freeswitch.org/mailman/listinfo/freeswitch-users > UNSUBSCRIBE:http://lists.freeswitch.org/mailman/options/freeswitch-users > http://www.freeswitch.org > > -- WBR, Sergey GTALK/JABBER:4orbit@gmail.com

Build problem in master?
by Phil Dunks 23 May '14

23 May '14

Hi Guys Just done clean checkout of master into /usr/local/src and tried to build. It fails during configure stage. Same error on centos and OSX. checking for sqlite3 >= 3.6.20... Package sqlite3 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `sqlite3.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'sqlite3' found configure: error: Library requirements (sqlite3 >= 3.6.20) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them. Thanks Phil

Re: [Freeswitch-users] CLI

Hi all, I am looking to build a web page which will give me some live overview of call details, e,g, number of calls to a certain number etc. I am looking to use fs_cli -x to achieve this, was wondering if doing this adds much load to the box and could interfere with calls in any way. I use SNMP of other stats which I believe is less intrusive, but gives me less info. Cheers Keith

WebRTC and dtls-srtp
by Oleg Stolyar 22 May '14

22 May '14

Hi guys, The latest version of Chrome (35) stopped supporting SDES and now requires dtls-srtp. So now, I need to configure my FreeSWITCH to work with dtls-srtp. I see that my installation has dtls-srtp.crt and key files under /usr/local/freeswitch/certs/ but I could not find much info on how to enable it. Do I need to replace these with my own generated keys? Where in the config do I specify what directory the keys are in? To complicate things I am on FS 1.5.6b from about 8 months ago. It should have dtls-srtp support though, right? This is a fairly urgent matter for us - we dropped the ball and did not catch this change in time - and I'd be happy to consider commercial support from the FS team if available. If so, please contact me via email directly.

Configuring sofia via mod_xml_curl
by Mustafa Abdullah 22 May '14

22 May '14

Hi all, I am trying to configure sofia using mod_xml_curl and I am seeing that even though I am returning the profile from my server, Freeswitch still reads sofia.conf.xml on the filesystem and continues to configure sofia from the file system. I thought the file system fall back only happened when the “not found” result was returned, but that does not seem to be the case. On my test box, freeswitch continues to add read the internal and external profiles and then add the example gateway found in the default config, even when I am specifically only returning a single profile without any gateways. Any help/hints appreciated. Thanks.

IVR codec issue (I think)
by Sean Devoy 22 May '14

22 May '14

HI Everybody! I had a recent problem where a transferred call's audio was highly degraded. The cause was identified as mismatched codecs - thanks again. Today, I have a VERY VERY similar problem. The difference is that the first step is an IVR, not the receptionist. How do I set the CODEC for an incoming call to 711u when it is routed to an IVR. Thanks, Sean

Hangup when using ACL and TLS isn't relayed between servers
by Michael Kristensen 22 May '14

22 May '14

Hi, I’m working on bridging a call from one freeswitch server to another freeswitch server using ACL and TLS. The setup work without problems when running without TLS. But when I enable TLS, the BYE isn’t relayed from one server to the other - so the client in the other end is left hanging. I can from wireshark see that the BYE isn’t sent. And from the debug code below it seems to be because I get an 503 error (Connection refused), Is this somehow related to the "Overriding SIP cause 480 with 200 from the other leg"? - Why do I get this error when I use TLS?
