Backups outbound calls via several isp
by Roman 26 May '14

26 May '14

Hello! I have several ISP in freeswitch/sip_profiles (isp0, isp1, isp2). Default routing define in freeswitch/dialplan/default and by default used isp0 for outbound calls. <include> <extension name="outbound"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^(\d+)$"> <action application="set" data="effective_caller_id_number=aon"/> <action application="bridge" data="sofia/gateway/isp0/$1"/> <action application="ring_ready"/> </condition> </extension> </include> How i can organize backup calls via isp1 or isp2 if isp0 is down? This can be done through http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Variable_continue_on_fail ? Thanks for advice! -- Kind regards, Roman

tar ball vs git clone
by Valter Nogueira 26 May '14

26 May '14

I have noticed when I downloaded FS 1.4.4 tar ball, that is comes with binary and intermetidate files already compiled. It don't have bootstrap.sh - but rebootstrap.sh instead. Should I use the tar ball or git clone? And if I should use git clone how I get a specific version such as 1.4.4 Thanks. Valter

Enabling presence
by Karol Matuszewski 26 May '14

26 May '14

Hi, I use Jitsi for my SIP client. Some of internal profiles I have in my contact list. The problem is that I could not see presence status of all my contacts (all of them are registered in FS server). Solution described in above link was not helpful: http://www.microweb10.com/index.php/en/tutorials/enable-presence-fs I still have an error in fs_cli: freeswitch@internal> sofia_presence_data list -ERR no reply Has anyone realizes what might be the problem? -- Regards, Karol Matuszewski

git clone git://git.freeswitch.org/freeswitch.git is no updated...

Hi, When do git clone git://git.freeswitch.org/freeswitch.git i can't have the same version as the one that is show in fisheye, 054c645818979b83a436ef8a54ce7306ac84c4fa. is there a problem in the git repos? When I do git log, I see: commit 1fe6fb6d46efa12ae59f7b573dade4e09c3cdec2 Author: Travis Cross <tc(a)traviscross.com> Date: Thu May 22 18:08:14 2014 +0000 Use CPPFLAGS for mod_java includes commit e8ba8ed5a59d0af41971cd3817d39bf33c813980 Author: Travis Cross <tc(a)traviscross.com> Date: Sat May 24 00:34:12 2014 +0000 Avoid useless NAT log message If FS is not behind NAT, then every call generates at least three INFO-level log messages: [INFO] switch_nat.c:589 NAT port mapping disabled This is useless noise. The message is only interesting if you do have NAT enabled but mapping disabled, which might indicate a configuration issue. With this change, we just skip the entire nat_add_mapping function if the NAT system isn't initialized or we're not behind NAT. Regards, António

GSMopen's incoming call handling behavior
by Mervyn Yeo 25 May '14

25 May '14

HI all, Are incoming calls for gsmopen hard coded to answer before sending the caller to the specified destination in the gsmopen configuration? Can this behaviour be altered? Preferably to not answer and ring the destination and only answer when the callee picks up. Thanks, Mervyn

I see different contents for: http://files.freeswitch.org/repo/deb/debian/dists/sid/main/binary-amd64/Pac… in different regions. Even though the last changed dates shown in: http://files.freeswitch.org/repo/deb/debian/dists/sid/main/binary-amd64/ are identical. Did something break with the 1.4.4 uploads? -JimC -- James Cloos <cloos(a)jhcloos.com> OpenPGP: 0x997A9F17ED7DAEA6
