What am I missing for IVR Display Name?
by mehmet ozisik 18 Feb '14

18 Feb '14

Hello, For days I am trying to change IVR's display name when user called IVR on freeswitch on 200 OK response. I am always seeing "Outbound Call" because it is setted as default. I have tried many combiantions , searched the wiki , but nothing was effective. I would like to try to write down all combinations which I have tried, could you please look at and tell me what I am missing? PS : I have activated ignore_display_update variable not to get sip UPDATE. I have edited dialpan for IVR <extension name="IVR"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^IVR$"> <action application="socket" data="192.168.170.102:8084 async full"/> <action Integrating FreeSWITCH with Open IMS Core
by Jaytirth S Khairatkar 15 Feb '14

15 Feb '14

Hello, I wish to integrate Open IMS Core and FreeSWITCH such that an IMS user can call a FreeSWITCH user and vice versa. I have succeed in establishing a call from an IMS user to a FreeSWITCH user. IMS provides a feature of forwarding a SIP INVITE request based on a filter. But I am struggling to establish a call from a FreeSWITCH user towards IMS. Does FreeSWITCH have a feature where it can forward an INVITE request based on a filter? I will greatly appreciate any help that can lead me closer to the solution. thanks and regards Jaytirth *Disclaimer* ------------------------------------------------------------ Notice: This e-mail and / or attachments (communication) may contain information that is confidential and proprietary to The Tata Power Company Limited, Strategic Engineering Division (Tata Power SED). I’ve checked in timezone-gen.pl into scripts/perl (Thanks to Nathan Neulinger) Run it on your systems, spot check it, Please give us feedback, we’ll be adding this to a periodic run to update going forward in a few weeks if nobody reports bugs with it. -- Brian West brian(a)freeswitch.org FreeSWITCH Solutions, LLC PO BOX 2531 Brookfield, WI 53008-2531 Twitter: @FreeSWITCH , @briankwest http://www.freeswitchbook.com http://www.freeswitchcookbook.com T: +1.918.420.9001 | F: +1.918.420.9002 | M: +1.918.424.WEST iNUM: +883 5100 1420 9001 ISN: 410*543 Skype:briankwest PGP Key: http://www.bkw.org/key.txt (AB93356707C76CED)

Issue with a=fmtp:18 annexb=no
by Sam 14 Feb '14

14 Feb '14

Hi, We are facing an issue with a=fmtp:18 annexb=no. Here is the call flow, Cisco CUCM -> Cisco Cube -> FS Cisco is expecting in 200 OK , m=audio 28820 RTP/AVP 18 101 13 a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000 * a=fmtp:18 annexb=no* a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-16 a=ptime:20 But fs is generating without *a=fmtp:18 annexb=no* m=audio 28820 RTP/AVP 18 101 13 a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000 a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-16 a=ptime:20 Because of that calls are getting fail. I am not getting where should we change setting to include that line. Log, http://pastebin.com/LDHEmCNv Please help me to resolve that issue. Thanks in advance. ----- Thanks, Sam -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/Issue-with-a-fmtp-18-annexb-n… Sent from the freeswitch-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Outbound displays prefix
by George Assaad 14 Feb '14

14 Feb '14

Hello, Here is a typical Outbound dial plan that we use. condition destination_number ^(\d{10})$ action set sip_h_X-accountcode=${accountcode} action set sip_h_X-Tag= action set call_direction=outbound action set hangup_after_bridge=true action set effective_caller_id_name=${outbound_caller_id_name} action set effective_caller_id_number=${outbound_caller_id_number} action set inherit_codec=true action bridge sofia/gateway/domain.com-GWname/99900$1 Things work perfect however if our client is using one of the VOIP desk phone such as Polycom IP33x or Grandstream GXP21xx, the display will show the number dialed but with the prefix which the client has no clue how of it is it. The problem is magnified when he is trying to go through the call history, the Polycom will show the dialed number with the prefix which will prevent him from dial back. The grand stream is not as bad as if you go to the call hisptry it will show what was dialed only. Is there a way to not show the prefix in the phone's display although it goes out with each number dialed. Thanks, George

Originate (Outbound) Calls: start dailplan on answer
by Grant Bagdasarian 14 Feb '14

14 Feb '14

Hello, I'm using the originate command to initiate an outbound call, which works great. The phone rings. But if the user decides to pick up after 20 seconds, the dialplan has already advanced 20 seconds into the dailplan. Is there a way to start execution of the dialplan once the call is answered? Regards, Grant
