Mod-managed c# cdr
by Andre Demattia 15 Jun '13

15 Jun '13

Hi I'm trying to figure out how to capture the CDR in c# after the call is ended. I see there's a on hangup_complete event. But I'm not sure how to connect that with the session to call session.getxmlcdr() Thanks Andre

SIP web client recommendations
by Matthew Cordes 15 Jun '13

15 Jun '13

Hello, Could anyone recommend a SIP web client (either using flash or Java applets) that they found worked particularly well with FreeSwitch. I've tried a few of them with mixed results. http://phono.com is the best one I've tried, but one of my requirements is that the client (and media server if needs one like flash) be deployable inside my company's intranet w/o access to the internet. This rules out all of the cloud based solutions sadly. I'm also playing with WebRTC but I don't think that's mature enough for my immediate needs. I'm not biased against a commercial solution. -Matt

Hi, I have an FS machine running on FreeBSD system with Digium 8-span PRI card. PRI line is plugged only on span 1. Everything was running fine until all the channels got alarms suddenly and mod_ftdm attempted to restart them. But while restarting FS crashed. /var/log/messages show: *Jun 14 12:36:03 ivrfr kernel: pid 759 (freeswitch), uid 0: exited on signal 11 (core dumped)* * * I am attaching the messages file herewith. Please throw some light on what might have happened. -- Ashish Gautam Nucleus Microsystems (Pvt.) Ltd. Ph. 011 47574758

Re: [Freeswitch-users] configure fails to find libpq
by kellon.langdon＠sis-grenada.com 15 Jun '13

Hi Claus / Steven I have also bee having problems with freeswitch find libpq. I have tried with version 1.2.10 down to 1.2.7. what i've found on my system Platform CentOS 6.4 Postgresql 9.2 using the following configure options ./configure --enable-core-pgsql-support LDFLAGS="-L/usr/pgsql-9.2/lib" CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/pgsql-9.2/include" freeswitch no longer complains about not finding lpg. Another error is thrown out. This new problem is to do with mod_xml_scgi which seems to be an old bug and the problem I'm having currently. Try the options given above and see. I suspect you only need the --enable-core-pgsql-support. I assume that the following has the same effect: $ LDFLAGS="${LDFLAGS} -L/usr/pgsql-9.2/lib" $ export LDFLAGS $./configure --enable-core-pgsql-support This fails during make and I have written a sperate mail to that effect. I will try your suggestion as well. Would the proper procedure be to file a new bug or should the make error be filed as a seperate (but related) bug? Kind Regards, Claus Andersen

Anyone able to get freeswitch to register a gateway over TLS or TCP? I can't get it to not send UDP packets for reg.
by Mitch Capper 14 Jun '13

14 Jun '13

I am trying to get freeswitch to register with another freeswitch server (on TLS port 5061) however default the config settings I believe should set it, it always trys to register over UDP (after registration or with registration set to false however it does send TCP then for outbound calls). If anyone has a gateway config that actually registers over TCP or TLS that would be great. The client gateway/profile config at: http://pastebin.freeswitch.org/15383is what i believe should work but isn't I have tried setting contact-params on the gateway to tport=tls tport=tcp tport=tcp;transport=tls and transport=tls without any luck. Anyway even TCP would be helpful as it would allow me to trace better how the sip registration decides to use TCP or UDP. I tried digging into libsofia but its a bit hard to trace and understand with its generic event structure and tagging (plus the documentation isn't the most rebust on registration options). Thanks ~Mitch

Kamailio+Freeswitch SBC
by Camila Troncoso 14 Jun '13

14 Jun '13

Hi all, I’m working for a while with Kamailio+Freeswitch as SBC. I have this structure: * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * When I make a call, from one client coneccted to LCR, it is route to my SBC and afterwards to his destiny in the cloud passing thourgh a gateway. When the destiny is unreachable, the LCR reroutes the call to another gateway. Sometimes the LCR send this retry again to the SBC , becouse the second gateway is also in the cloud, but when this happens, Fresswitch answer with : “482 Request merged”. Is there a way to solve this? Regards, * * *Camila Troncoso **|* Ingeniero de Desarrollo RedVoiss *|*ctroncoso(a)redvoiss.net Santiago - Chile *|* +56 2 2408535 www.redvoiss.net

Freeswitch+ Skypopen concurrent calls.
by Pankaj Belsare 14 Jun '13

14 Jun '13

Hi Giovanni, I have a freeswitch configured with skypopen with multiple skype clients as per the wiki pages<http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Skypopen#Running_multiple_instances_of_the_…> at the time when i implimented it, concurrent calls were working fine, but today i observed while my regular sanity checks that the concurrent calls are not longer getting through for the same skype user id, the calls were landing into voice mail of skype (although the voicemail feature for skype account was enabled since beginning the concurrent calls were working fine then.) I am not able to find any clue why suddenly concurrent calls with the same skype usrename stopped working, is it some thing to do with the skype network? Please help. Thanks Pankaj

Inbound calls without registering
by Matt Broad 14 Jun '13

14 Jun '13

Hi, I have a Freeswitch server up and running and am able to make and receive calls via my VOIP provider. I have it set up that my Freeswitch registers to the provider and then I receive/make calls via that gateway. I now have a new provider that will be providing just inbound calls. They have informed me that I do not need to register with them they will just send the calls to my IP address. My question is how do I configure Freeswitch to allow calls from an IP address? I assume I need to setup an external SIP profile, but does this not require a username and password? -- Thanks Matt This email and any attachments to it are confidential and are intended solely for the use of the individual to whom it is addressed.
