fail_on_single_reject ignored with LCR endpoint
by Victor Chukalovskiy 27 Nov '13

27 Nov '13

Hi, I rely on fail_on_single_reject = INCOMPATIBLE_DESTINATION to make sure calls don't fail-over to other routes. INCOMPATIBLE_DESTINATION is returned as the first mod_lcr route. Call rejection works this way: <action application="set" data="fail_on_single_reject=INCOMPATIBLE_DESTINATION"/> <action application="lcr" data="2411765512 test_profile"/> <action application="bridge" data="${lcr_auto_route}"/> However, when call is bridged to lcr endpoint, fail_on_single_reject is ignored. Call gets failed-over to the second route after hitting INCOMPATIBLE_DESTINATION: <action application="set" data="fail_on_single_reject=INCOMPATIBLE_DESTINATION"/> <action application="bridge" data="lcr/test_profile/2411765512"/> Is this a bug or something by-design??? Here is an example of LCR routes involved: | Digit Match | Carrier | Rate | Codec | CID Regexp | Limit | Dialstring | | 241 | 488_REJECTION | 0.00001 | | | ld_carriers 488_REJECTION -1 | [lcr_carrier=488_REJECTION,lcr_rate=0.00001]error/INCOMPATIBLE_DESTINATION | | 241 | CARRIER_1 | 0.40240 | | | ld_carriers CARRIER_1 -1 | [lcr_carrier=CARRIER_1,lcr_rate=0.40240]sofia/gateway/CARRIER_1_GW_1/+2411765512 | Thank you, Victor

Cannot Blind Transfer 1 Legged calls
by assgeo8＠gmail.com 27 Nov '13

27 Nov '13

Hi, I've be trying to get the attended transfers to work without success. Freeswitch setup is 1.2-stable with the default configuration. I have 3 yealink phones 1001-1002-1003. I call from 1001 to 1002 - OK I initiate the attended transfer from 1002 to 1003 - OK (it's just like another call & 1001 gets moh) Then I transfer 1001 to 1003 but it fails, returning the call to 1002 with the message 'transfer failed" Looking at the logs i found this error : Cannot Blind Transfer 1 Legged calls prior to Processing Extension 1001 <1001>->1003 in context public Why this error? Maybe it's because the processing goes to context public? siprec question
by gk 26 Nov '13

26 Nov '13

Is it possible to configure FreeSwitch so that sip calls can be recorded with an external recording application? I've read about OrkAudio, but that seems to use passive recording via span port mirroring. I'm looking to perform active sip recording through a connected socket/port. That would require FreeSwitch to establish a socket connection with the recorder, but I'm not sure if that's something FreeSwitch can do. Thanks. -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/siprec-question-tp7596002.html Sent from the freeswitch-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Interesting... Doorbot!
by Brian West 26 Nov '13

26 Nov '13

I just ordered a Doorbot since my office is away from my house and I missed the car dealership coming to pickup my car friday… http://www.curebit.com/x/uQkYpv (Order it with this link and you’ll get 10 dollars off yours) I wonder if we could convince them to open this thing up for SIP? Its cheaper than the N2 video door intercoms… -- Brian West brian(a)freeswitch.org FreeSWITCH Solutions, LLC PO BOX 2531 Brookfield, WI 53008-2531 Twitter: @FreeSWITCH_Wire , @briankwest http://www.freeswitchbook.com http://www.freeswitchcookbook.com T: +1.918.420.9001 | F: +1.918.420.9002 | M: +1.918.424.WEST iNUM: +883 5100 1420 9001 ISN: 410*543 Skype:briankwest PGP Key: http://www.bkw.org/key.txt (AB93356707C76CED)

FS-4965 playback_offset_pos
by Yitzchok 26 Nov '13

26 Nov '13

I posted this on JIRA a long time ago and didn't get any updates http://jira.freeswitch.org/browse/FS-4965 What I am trying to do is stream a file and when it's done playing (for whatever reason... like a DTMF that stops it) I want to know the offset where it stopped playing (so that I can start playing from that position another time) Is there another way of doing this? Audio out of sync
by Ashwin Jain 26 Nov '13

26 Nov '13

Hi, We have setup a single freeswitch server which receives a call from a DID provider (ex: voipms) and do a outbound call another provider (ex: lesnet) (we also record call). For short duration call, everything is working fine, but for calls with long duration (like more than 10 minutes), audio is getting out of sync. Has anyone had this issue? Where could be the problem? -- Thanks and Regards, Ashwin Jain

Luasocket not loading on 1.2 stable
by Neil Patel 26 Nov '13

26 Nov '13

Hi All, I have FS 1.2 stable installed on fresh Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. I installed lua and lua socket libraries from package: # apt-get install lua5.1 liblua5.1-socket-dev liblua5.1-socket2 This installed socket module in /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/lua/5.1/, which I added as a module directory in lua.conf.xml. When I attempt to run the command "require 'socket.http'" in a lua script within FS, I get this error: 2013-11-25 10:14:38.394321 [ERR] mod_lua.cpp:199 /usr/local/freeswitch/scripts/test.lua:27: module 'socket.http' not found: no field package.preload['socket.http'] no file './socket/http.lua' no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.1/socket/http.lua' no file '/usr/local/share/lua/5.1/socket/http/init.lua' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/socket/http.lua' no file '/usr/local/lib/lua/5.1/socket/http/init.lua' no file '/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/lua/5.1/socket/http.so' no file '/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/lua/5.1/socket.so' stack traceback: [C]: in function 'require' It's looking for http.so; however in the socket module library there are only the files core.so and unix.so When I run lua interpreter from terminal and try the same require command, it works without complaint: root@server:~# lua Lua 5.1.4 Copyright (C) 1994-2008 Lua.org, PUC-Rio > require "socket.http"; > So why is FS' lua complaining about a luasocket library that standard lua isn't, and how do I deal with it? Thanks, Neil

Is there any error handler in freeswitch
by bhavesh_369 26 Nov '13

26 Nov '13

Freeswitch generally responds with " [ERR] " for any error condition. e.g. [ERR no reply] I want to know if there is any errorhandler (OR user defined error callback) methods implemented, so that in my freeswitch API if above kind of ERR occurs I can handle next procedure in my function. e.g. I want myErrHandler() function to print custom error message received from freeswitch ERR and give control to my function. -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/Is-there-any-error-handler-in… Sent from the freeswitch-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
