A108 PCIe 2.0 support
by Anita Hall 17 Sep '10

17 Sep '10

Hi Does Sangoma 8-port card A108 support PCIe version 2.0 ? The card is here http://www.sangoma.com/products/hardware_products/digital_voice_and_data_ne… And we want to use 3 such cards in this motherboard because it has 3 PCIe slots of version 2.0 http://www.intel.com/products/desktop/motherboards/DX58SO/DX58SO-overview.h… Is this a good idea ? Do you have any experience with multiple A108 with PCIe on the same motherboard that supports PCIe 2.0 ? Any comments will be helpful. Thanks, Anita Hall Simmortel Voice.

INFO: FreeSWITCH Behavior Modification
by Michael Collins 17 Sep '10

17 Sep '10

Hello, Anthony just did an update this afternoon that causes a behavior change. The commit is here: http://fisheye.freeswitch.org/changelog/freeswitch.git/?cs=42c9df72ce2c1653… No need to worry about updating, just know that you no longer need explicitly to call 'reloadxml' when you execute these commands: reloadacl load <module> reload <module> I think we can all agree that this is a definite improvement. -MC

dtmfmode=auto equivalent in FreeSwitch
by Jeffrey Leung 16 Sep '10

16 Sep '10

Hey all, While I was reading over examples on configuring Asterisk to work with a SIP provider (FreePhoneLine.ca), I was wondering if there is an option just like dtmfmode=auto in FreeSwitch. If not, is there a way to get FreeSwitch to intercept the DTMF tones sent from any client and send them as in-band tone? Thanks for the help in advance!

Re: [Freeswitch-users] Contact Field
by Kristian Kielhofner 16 Sep '10

I assume he is talking about the contact field in the INVITE, not the REGISTER... I don't know how to accomplish this off the top of my head but I'd be interested too (quite a few carriers request this). -- Kristian Kielhofner http://blog.krisk.org ------------------------------ *From*: freeswitch-users-bounces(a)lists.freeswitch.org < freeswitch-users-bounces(a)lists.freeswitch.org> *To*: freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org < freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org> *Sent*: Tue May 18 11:56:28 2010 *Subject*: Re: [Freeswitch-users] Contact Field HI Ken, Add the following line <param name="extension" value="10 Digit Number"/> Lloyd On Tue, May 18, 2010 at 11:40 AM, Ken Fulmer < kenfulmer(a)icstechnologysolutions.com> wrote: > We are connecting a FS gateway to PaeTec.
