Application needed
by David Knell 08 Mar '08

Hi - I'm after a FreeSWITCH app which will do the following: 1. Call comes in. 2. Outbound call is originated to the same number via a gateway 3. If we don't get ringback (a SIP 183) from the outbound leg within a timeout, return a 480 to the original inbound caller 4. Having got a 183 from the outbound leg, start tone detection to detect ringtone (425Hz single tone in this case, but it'd be good to be able to detect dual tones as well) 5. If we hear ringtone within a timeout period, then send a 183 to the original caller and bridge the calls together; the calls then proceed as normal 6. If we don't, then return a 480 to the original caller and dump the outbound call. If, at any time, the outbound call is answered, it needs to be immediately bridged to the inbound one. I'm able to offer a reasonably substantial bribe for this - if you'd like to have a go at claiming it, please let me know how large a bribe you'd need, how long it'll take you and don't start until it's agreed..! Freeswitch MySQL

HI Lists, This is my first post in this list i hope i will get the guide and information to help us moving from asterisk to freeswitch. Currently i am using Asterisk as Softswitch to route the calls to voip carriers, accounting and athurization. But some time i am getting problem in CDRs the calls hanged in asterisk without any RTP and audio. For this reason i want to switch to freeswitch if it is right choise for softswitch purpose. Is FS support kind of realtime database so we can let SIP ATAs register direct from database? Does it have some API so we can run Perl to calculate max credit time for priticular destinations? I will be appriciate if any one can guide me in right way so i can start from there? Thank You Abdul Lateef --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? can you test this for me? first "make current" to update and rebuild the code. then test it again, if it still is happening, edit src/include/switch_private.h look at the top for /* Define if you have clock_gettime() */ #define HAVE_CLOCK_GETTIME 1 /* Define if you have clock_nanosleep() */ #define HAVE_CLOCK_NANOSLEEP 1 and comment them /* Define if you have clock_gettime() */ //#define HAVE_CLOCK_GETTIME 1 /* Define if you have clock_nanosleep() */ //#define HAVE_CLOCK_NANOSLEEP 1 then close it and from the main src dir execute "make current" again once it's done retest if the problem persists, edit the file again and restore it by removing the comments and add this extra line anywhere at the top #define SWITCH_USE_CLOCK_FUNCS 1 and again "make sure" and retest please report the results and we can see if there is something we can do. However the problem with moh dialing 9999 still remains. I've tried from my pc and another one. Music is "choppy". I've also tried a 1000 to 1001 sip call using zoiper and it sounds crystal clear. Strange. Is there any default iax user in the system?
