bridge command example
by Cavalera Claudio Luigi 15 May '08

15 May '08

Hello, how can I modify the following example <action application="bridge" data="iax/guest@somebox/1234,sofia/test-int/1000@somehost"/> so that both locations are able to answer and not just the first one? I've taken it from http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Freeswitch_IVR_Originate#Mutiple_destina tions_in_outbound_calls I'm testing something very similar in a php page towards freeswitch socket api, it was nice to have a one shot command to do everything :-) Thanks, Claudio Internet Email Confidentiality Footer ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- La presente comunicazione, con le informazioni in essa contenute e ogni documento o file allegato, e' rivolta unicamente alla/e persona/e cui e' indirizzata ed alle altre da questa autorizzata/e a riceverla. Termination Providers (OT..Somewhat)
by Jonathan Palley 14 May '08

14 May '08

Hello - We are currently very unhappy with our termination partner and are looking for someone else. We do calls to China, US, H.K. and Canada. Quality is key. Our traffic is doubling month over month. I realize this is somewhat off topic for this list, but this is a very savvy community and I think it would be beneficial to start a wiki page guiding people in the right direction on this subject so its not brought up on this list and those in this business can let the rest of us know. Thanks! Jonathan

Problem with TLS (call setup)
by Krzysiek 14 May '08

14 May '08

Hi I try to setup TLS SIP signalling between Freeswitch and Minisip softphone, but it doesn't work. I think I did everythnig ok in freeswitch configuration because 'sofia profile' command printed that profile with tls is running on port 5061. Minisip softphones registered properly(First I had to import a CA certificate). Problem appears when I try to setup a call between them (the same subnet). When one softphone try to setup a call, the second won't ring. mod_portaudio send 3 rtp packet/60ms instead of 1 packet/20ms
by Zelei Csaba 14 May '08

14 May '08

Dear all, I tried to use FS in client mode, starting calls with mod_portaudio to our providers gateway ( a Cirpack softswitch ) I experienced that there is 2-3 sec delay in the call, its choppy and robot like. I tested it with a softphone, and an ip phone and everything was fine. I traced back the problem to mod_portaudio sending 3 rtp packet in 60ms instead of 1 packet/20ms. Here is an rtp statistic from a call: (see http://pastebin.freeswitch.org/4307 for the complete list and sip trace) Packet Sequence Delta (ms) 42 26138 0.00 43 26139 0.02 46 26140 45.69 47 26141 0.02 48 26142 2.96 52 26143 56.31 53 26144 5.75 54 26145 0.02 58 26146 51.99 59 26147 0.03 60 26148 2.96 63 26149 42.95 65 26150 17.06 66 26151 0.02 67 26152 2.90 71 26153 56.99 72 26154 0.03 73 26155 0.02 Did anyone else experience similar problems? Is this the desired behaviour, because portaudio get data in 60ms interval or can I set it to 20ms somehow? Thanks, Csaba Zelei

problems with outgoing calls
by Czaderna 13 May '08

13 May '08

Hello :) At the begining - sorry for my english. I have following problems with freeswitch: 1. I have got 3 computers in LAN. On one computer is running freeswitch, and on the others are intalleted Xlite software (sip clients). 2. On "voipdiscount.com" I've got an account for free local calls. 3. I want make a call on mobile phone using freeswitch and voipdiscount.com So on my computer I start XLite, log in on default freeswitch account 1000 and then try dial a mobile phone number 4. On dialplan I have something like this: ./CONF//DIALPLAN: public.xml <include> <context name="public"> <extension name="public_extensions"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^(10[01][0-9])$"> <action application="transfer" data="$1 XML default"/> </condition> </extension> <extension name="test_voipdiscount"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^([0-9]{13})$"> <action application="bridge" data="sofia/gateway/voipdiscount.com/$1@sip.voipdiscount.com"/> </condition> </extension> </context> </include> and on the sip_profiles (conf/sip_profiles/outbound/voipdiscount.com.xml) I have following configuration of gateway: <include> <gateway name="voipdiscount.com"> <param name="username" value="user_name"/> <param name="realm" value="sip.voipdiscount.com"/> <param name="password" value="user_password"/>--> <param name="proxy" value="sip.voipdiscount.com"/> </gateway> </include> After connection on freeswitch I get following messages: 2008-05-13 09:51:43 [INFO] mod_iax.c:928 mod_iax_runtime() IAX Ready Port 4569 freeswitch@xx> 2008-05-13 09:51:43 [NOTICE] sofia_reg.c:104 sofia_reg_check_gateway() registering voipdiscount.com 2008-05-13 09:51:43 [NOTICE] sofia_reg.c:104 sofia_reg_check_gateway() registering ideasip.com 2008-05-13 09:51:47 [NOTICE] switch_channel.c:531 switch_channel_set_name() New Channel sofia/default/1000(a)192.168.3.79 [701574c2-20c1-11dd-9725-39613e150eca] 2008-05-13 09:51:47 [INFO] mod_dialplan_xml.c:223 dialplan_hunt() Processing 1000->0048606xxxxxx@public 2008-05-13 09:51:47 [NOTICE] switch_channel.c:531 switch_channel_set_name() New Channel sofia/outbound/0048606xxxxxx(a)sip.voipdiscount.com [70165892-20c1-11dd-9725-39613e150eca] 2008-05-13 09:52:14 [NOTICE] sofia_reg.c:104 sofia_reg_check_gateway() registering voipdiscount.com 2008-05-13 09:52:14 [NOTICE] sofia_reg.c:104 sofia_reg_check_gateway() registering ideasip.com 2008-05-13 09:52:46 [NOTICE] sofia_reg.c:104 sofia_reg_check_gateway() registering voipdiscount.com 2008-05-13 09:52:46 [NOTICE] sofia_reg.c:104 sofia_reg_check_gateway() registering ideasip.com 2008-05-13 09:52:47 [NOTICE] switch_ivr_originate.c:1154 switch_ivr_originate() Hangup sofia/outbound/NTK(a)sip.voipdiscount.com [CS_HOLD] [NO_ANSWER] 2008-05-13 09:52:47 [INFO] mod_dptools.c:1551 audio_bridge_function() Originate Failed. I don't know where is the problem. Also I was trying connect through ideasip.com (got SIP number and an account at this provider) same as above, but in the dialplan instead of "bridge" I used "redirect". So my dialplan looks like this: <include> <context name="public"> <extension name="public_extensions"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^(10[01][0-9])$"> <action application="transfer" data="$1 XML default"/> </condition> </extension> <extension name="test_voipdiscount"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^([0-9]{11})$">  <action application="redirect" data="sip:$1@proxy.ideasip.com"/>   </condition> </extension> </context> </include> On voipdiscount.com this trick doesn't working. Could anyone help me, please ? Thanks Paul.
