Why ODBC? Use mod_mariadb instead. Install the mod via apt and configure according these tips: https://freeswitch.org/jira/browse/FS-11727 чт, 17 окт. 2019 г., 2:04 <freeswitch-users-request(a)lists.freeswitch.org>: > Send FreeSWITCH-users mailing list submissions to > freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org > > To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit > http://lists.freeswitch.org/mailman/listinfo/freeswitch-users > or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to > freeswitch-users-request(a)lists.freeswitch.org > > You can reach the person managing the list at > freeswitch-users-owner(a)lists.freeswitch.org > > When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific > than "Re: Contents of FreeSWITCH-users digest..." > Today's Topics: > > 1. FS merges RE-INVITE request into 200 OK

Hi list, I have a sympathetic "issue" or miss-configuration with FS. SIP provider <--> FS <--> Opensips <--> Asterisk After long investigation, I saw FS merge a RE-INVITE request from Asterisk into 200OK to provider. ONly when I have 183 session progress Ex: *SDP INVITE from Provider (SIP provider -->FS)* v=0 o=Sonus_UAC 7950 990 IN IP4 ******** s=SIP Media Capabilities c=IN IP4 ********* t=0 0 m=audio 22970 RTP/AVP 8 18 2 101 a=rtpmap:8 PCMA/8000 a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000 a=fmtp:18 annexb=no a=rtpmap:2 G726-32/8000 a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-15 a=sendrecv a=ptime:20 *SDP INVITE from FS to asterisk (FS --> Opensips --> Asterisk)* v=0 o=Sonus_UAC 7950 990 IN IP4 ******** s=SIP Media Capabilities c=IN IP4 ****** t=0 0 m=audio 22970 RTP/AVP 8 18 2 101 a=rtpmap:8 PCMA/8000 a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000 a=fmtp:18 annexb=no a=rtpmap:2 G726-32/8000 a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-15 a=ptime:20 *183 from asterisk (Asterisk --> Opensips --> FS)* v=0 o=- 7950 992 IN IP4 10.1.15.89 s=Asterisk c=IN IP4 10.1.15.89 t=0 0 m=audio 14096 RTP/AVP 8 18 101 a=rtpmap:8 PCMA/8000 a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000 a=fmtp:18 annexb=no a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-16 a=ptime:20 a=maxptime:150 a=sendrecv *183 from FS to SIP provider (FS --> provider)* v=0 o=- 7950 992 IN IP4 ******* s=Asterisk c=IN IP4 ******* t=0 0 m=audio 18344 RTP/AVP 8 18 101 a=rtpmap:8 PCMA/8000 a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000 a=fmtp:18 annexb=no a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-16 a=maxptime:150 a=rtcp:18345 a=ptime:20 *200OK from asterisk to FS (asterisk --> FS) (same code than 183)* v=0 o=- *7950 992* IN IP4 10.1.15.89 s=Asterisk c=IN IP4 10.1.15.89 t=0 0 m=audio 14096 RTP/AVP *8 18 101* a=rtpmap:8 PCMA/8000 a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000 a=fmtp:18 annexb=no a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-16 a=ptime:20 a=maxptime:150 a=sendrecv *RE-INVITE from asterisk (very close to 200OK)* v=0 o=- *7950 993* IN IP4 10.1.15.89 s=Asterisk c=IN IP4 10.1.15.89 t=0 0 m=audio 14096 RTP/AVP *8 0 18 101* a=rtpmap:8 PCMA/8000 a=rtpmap:0 PCMU/8000 a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000 a=fmtp:18 annexb=no a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-16 a=ptime:20 a=maxptime:150 a=sendrecv *Final 200OK from FS to sip provider (FS --> sip provider)* v=0 o=- *7950 993* IN IP4 ****** s=Asterisk c=IN IP4 ****** t=0 0 m=audio 18344 RTP/AVP *8 0 18 101* a=rtpmap:8 PCMA/8000 a=rtpmap:0 PCMU/8000 a=rtpmap:18 G729/8000 a=fmtp:18 annexb=no a=rtpmap:101 telephone-event/8000 a=fmtp:101 0-16 a=maxptime:150 a=rtcp:18345 a=ptime:20 We can see FS receives REINVITE close to 200OK from asterisk, it doesn't send original 200OK to SIP provider, but "merge" 200OK with sdp from REINVITE (from asterisk) ==> same owner and codecs (7950 / 993). - owner 200OK from asterisk: 7950 992 / codecs: 8 18 101 - owner REINVITE from asterisk: 7950 993 / codecs: 8 0 18 101 - owner 200OK from FS to SIP provider: 7950 993 / codecs: 8 0 18 101 After that, FS never sends 200OK to the asterisk's REINVITE and opensips hangup call avec timeout (2 mins) (cf call flow in attachment). Do you already saw that ? How can I correct this please ? thanks in advance PS: - FreeSWITCH Version 1.10.1-release+git~20190820T165404Z~f9990221e6~64bit (git f999022 2019-08-20 16:54:04Z 64bit) - I use <param name="inbound-late-negotiation" value="true"/>

Logfile problems
by Sean Devoy 16 Oct '19

16 Oct '19

Hi, I installed v 10 from distro on Debian 10. My initial logfile is 100MB. I checked the logfile.conf.xml in autoload_config. It has this: <configuration name="logfile.conf" description="File Logging"> <settings>  <param name="rotate-on-hup" value="true"/> </settings> <profiles> <profile name="default"> <settings>  <param name="logfile" value="/var/log/freeswitch.log"/>  <param name="rollover" value="10000000"/>   <param name="maximum-rotate" value="14"/>  <param name="uuid" value="true" /> </settings> <mappings>  <map name="all" value="console,debug,info,notice,warning,err,crit,alert"/> </mappings> </profile> </profiles> </configuration> I restarted FS and now I have no logfile (that I can find). Ideas? Sean

Callee ID name not passed from leg B to A
by Yehavi Bourvine 16 Oct '19

16 Oct '19

Hello, I am quite puzzled with this issue... A SIP phone calls an external SIP trunk via Freeswitch. In the "Ringing" packet leg B sends the *callee* name, but it is not passed to leg A. It is passed only after the OK is received. I have set ignore_display_updates to false, but it doesn't help. What else can I do? I'm attaching the incoming and outgoing "Ringing" packets. Thanks! __Yehavi: recv 839 bytes from tls/[1.2.3.4]:5061 at 08:19:13.197453: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SIP/2.0 180 Ringing Via: SIP/2.0/TLS 1.2.3.4:6051;rport=35614;branch=z9hG4bK16U455UF7a0XH From: "Yehavi Bourvine" <sip:89444@1.2.3.4>;tag=N9Krjm5v4DK4e To: <sip:85550@xxxxx.huji.ac.il>;tag=N04936HrDQQpQ Call-ID: 54d1daf3-6a77-1238-dbbc-005056971340 CSeq: 11047785 INVITE Contact: <sip:85550@1.2.3.4:5061;transport=tls> User-Agent: FreeSWITCH-mod_sofia/1.8.7~64bit Accept: application/sdp Allow: INVITE, ACK, BYE, CANCEL, OPTIONS, MESSAGE, INFO, UPDATE, REGISTER, REFER, NOTIFY Supported: path, replaces Allow-Events: talk, hold, conference, refer Content-Length: 0 X-FS-Display-Name: Yehavi Test Ofek X-FS-Display-Number: sip:85550@xxxxx.huji.ac.il X-FS-Support: update_display,send_info Remote-Party-ID: "Yehavi Test Ofek" <sip:85550@xxxx.huji.ac.il >;party=calling;privacy=off;screen=no send 709 bytes to udp/[2.2.2.2]:5062 at 08:19:13.216944: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SIP/2.0 180 Ringing Via: SIP/2.0/UDP 2.2.2.2:5062;branch=z9hG4bK1547592 From: "Yehavi Bourvine" <sip:89444@yyyy.huji.ac.il>;tag=1604186644 To: <sip:85550@yyyyy.huji.ac.il>;tag=2UHa7eB4086FS Call-ID: 544809116(a)2.2.2.2 CSeq: 2 INVITE Contact: <sip:85550@2.2.2.2:5060;transport=udp> User-Agent: FreeSWITCH-mod_sofia/1.8.7~64bit Accept: application/sdp Allow: INVITE, ACK, BYE, CANCEL, OPTIONS, MESSAGE, INFO, UPDATE, REGISTER, REFER, NOTIFY Supported: path, replaces Allow-Events: talk, hold, conference, refer Content-Length: 0 Remote-Party-ID: "85550" <sip:85550@yyyyy.huji.ac.il >;party=calling;privacy=off;screen=no

Freeswitch 1.10.1 (production Release) Debian 10.1 When I try to build freeswitch with mod_cepstral enabled in modules.conf, I get the following error: > making all mod_cepstral > make[4]: Entering directory > '/usr/local/src/freeswitch/src/mod/asr_tts/mod_cepstral' > CC mod_cepstral_la-mod_cepstral.lo > mod_cepstral.c:41:10: fatal error: swift.h: No such file or directory > #include <swift.h> > ^~~~~~~~~ > compilation terminated. > make[4]: *** [Makefile:715: mod_cepstral_la-mod_cepstral.lo] Error 1 > make[4]: Leaving directory > '/usr/local/src/freeswitch/src/mod/asr_tts/mod_cepstral' > make[3]: *** [Makefile:704: mod_cepstral-all] Error 1 > make[3]: Leaving directory '/usr/local/src/freeswitch/src/mod' > make[2]: *** [Makefile:607: all-recursive] Error 1 > make[2]: Leaving directory '/usr/local/src/freeswitch/src' > make[1]: *** [Makefile:3736: all-recursive] Error 1 > make[1]: Leaving directory '/usr/local/src/freeswitch' > make: *** [Makefile:1445: all] Error 2 What package do I need to install to resolve this issue. apt-cache -n search ^swift gives a list of packages, which I installed. Didn't help. What am I missing? Thanks for your time and assistance. William

by Jose Figueroa 14 Oct '19

Hello, I just installed freeswitch in a Centos 7 x64. I already setup everything including verto. I can make calls between extensions and out by a SIP client, but when I go to verto I cannot and I see this in the fs_cli console. 2019-10-11 15:24:08.513067 [ERR] switch_core_session.c:538 Could not locate channel type rtc Have you ever have this problem before? I already loaded mod_verto and mod_rtc Any help would be appreciated. Thank you JF

Troubleshooting and fixing Freeswitch webrtc audio issues
by Alex 14 Oct '19

14 Oct '19

Hello. We are running a bigbluebutton browser-based webinar server and having some issues with Freeswitch audio quality. We often get some strange audio "noises".Here is a very short sample (it starts at ~ 30+ seconds) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XOIsofU2nD5vfZC8F7khGeIXV4KVIDBI/view It's a bare metal server,(ubuntu 16.04, l4.15.0-65-lowlatency kernel, 4 cores, 16GB ram, 1 GBit uplink.) What changes in switch.conf.xml(conference.conf.xml, sofia.conf.xml other config files) could be made to fix this issue? Thank you! <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campai…> Virus-free. www.avast.com <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campai…> <#DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2>
