Log of Authentication Attempts/Failures
by Густаво Силва 15 Jun '15

15 Jun '15

Hello Guys, I am trying to log the attempts and failures of the authentication process but I am not able to get the log as described in the freeswitch site. I have already set my profile to log it by doing: <param name="log-auth-failures" value="true"/> and I reloaded the sofia mod. I should get in the freeswitch log, "SIP auth challenge" or "SIP auth failure", but I am getting only "Send challenge for" and "Send forbidden for" if the authentication fails. I am using the freeswitch version 1.2.11. What else should I do? Regards, Gustavo

mod_V8 JS Compilation point
by Kamil Nigmatullin 15 Jun '15

15 Jun '15

Does anyone know how mod_v8 works? I used to do a lot of things with Lua. It is fast and good. No comments. But as I understand, using nodeJS, V8 is compiling JS into binary code. What I wanted to know, if FS somehow compile JS script before start and keeps this code in memory or it does it each time when the dialplan it is called like with LUA? Hold - Play - Get DTMF
by Luiz Fernando Softov 15 Jun '15

15 Jun '15

Hi. I'm using event socket to control the flow of a call, and i have this scenery 1. A call to B. 2. After some time speaking, B press [*]. 3. System play a music to B channel 4. B press some keys [1234#] 5. System "transfer the call" or do something according with the pressed keys in step 4. So, this is working, but in step 2, i want to put leg A in "waiting mode", because when lag B say something, or press others keys, i can hear in leg A I try to put leg A in hold or park (with and without lock), but when i make this, i don't get any DTMF events of leg B. Is there any command to put leg A in "waiting mode"? It's like 2.1 System put leg A in "wait" 2.2 Leg B press [*] 2.3 System remote leg A from waiting -- Luiz Fernando Softov http://www.softov.com.br fernando(a)softov.com.br

New preqequistes? libyuv missing
by Mario 15 Jun '15

15 Jun '15

Is there an updated list of minimum required prereqs? I could not find them on the wiki, etc. I cam no longer compile on OS X due to libyav missing which is not available in homebrew. Also, is there a way to compile without the video stuff for those that don’t need it? Thanks, Mario G

Can't register Sofia profiles
by MrPurplz 14 Jun '15

14 Jun '15

Hi, I'm running basically a stock version of FreeSWITCH but for some reason only profile 1001 works. If I try calling 1000 or 1002 etc I get 2015-06-14 11:43:06.023897 [WARNING] sofia.c:5603 No Such Profile '1000' If I try sofia profile 1000 start or sofia profile 1000.xml start it says 2015-06-14 11:45:45.183897 [WARNING] sofia.c:5603 No Such Profile '1000.xml' I've checked and all these xml files exist within directory/default. I feel I'm just doing something obviously stupid. Any suggestions? -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/Can-t-register-Sofia-profiles… Sent from the freeswitch-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

Tone detection How To
by Naveen Tamanam 13 Jun '15

13 Jun '15

Hi, I am using following command for tone detection, tone_detect <uuid> <key> <tone_spec> [<flags> <timeout> <app> <args>] <hits> Many times I end with the false detection. In my case I haven't given all optional args. I just gave tone_detect uuid key tone_specs. It would be something like, tone_detect 8582g3b8-f7db-10e4-2ac4-c01885c1ffd3 tone_name frp1,frp2,frp3 Where frp1, frp2 and frp3 are the frequencies of few peak amplitudes of the tone. Those frequencies are detected through audacity by plotting spectrum, Spectrum specs are, Alogorithm: Spectrum, Fuction: Hanning window or Bartlett window Size: 512 Axis: Log Frequencies Is there anything I am missing. Any suggestions are highly appreciated, Thanks. -- Thanks & Regards, Naveen Tamanam
