Directory Schema v1.4
by Sean Devoy 19 Jun '15

19 Jun '15

Hi All, I understand that FS changed its directory structure to use a more standardized structure like/etc/freeswitch. Does the v1.4 REPO (compiling from scratch ) still have the old structure or does it use the new structure? Thanks, Sean

French sound files and FreeSwitch release
by Yannick LE COENT 19 Jun '15

19 Jun '15

Hi, My post has not been accepted by the mailing yet. I do not know why. Nevertheless, I saw Brian's reply and I would to add that we use FreeSWITCH 1.2.3 because this release is already in production and we do not want to update it right now. Thansk, Yannick

PostgreSQL core and reg db
by Roman Dissauer 19 Jun '15

19 Jun '15

Hey, I started using my PostgreSQL database for freeswitch core and sofia_reg_internal. All works fine but every time I start the internal profile I get a bunch of errors: 2015-06-18 13:58:48.471346 [NOTICE] sofia.c:5565 Connecting ODBC Profile internal [sofia_reg_internal] 2015-06-18 13:58:48.489141 [ERR] switch_pgsql.c:645 Error executing query: FEHLER: Relation „sr_call_id“ already exists 2015-06-18 13:58:48.489515 [ERR] switch_pgsql.c:645 Error executing query: FEHLER: Relation „sr_sip_user“ already exists ... This errors didn’t appear when I was using MySQL ODBC Database connector. As I said, everything works fine but maybe I’m overlooking something and I don’t want to run into some serious troubles. My Freeswitch version Info: FreeSWITCH Version 1.4.18+git~20150312T185523Z~4eed221b69~64bit (git 4eed221 2015-03-12 18:55:23Z 64bit) running on CentOS 7.1 with PostgreSQL 9.4 Thanks, Roman

Verto, Bridging & Bypass Media
by Danny Gershman 19 Jun '15

19 Jun '15

I'm trying to avoid having FreeSWITCH process media for a verto connection and have it skip it and go directly to a bridged endpoint. I'm trying to bypass media after a bridge, and I'm getting no audio after the following command is executed. bridge {bypass_media_after_bridge=true,absolute_codec_string=PCMU}sofia/external/<sipuri> If I do the same thing without bypass_media_after_bridge, everything works ok. Any ideas? Thanks, Danny Gershman

sip trunk to SBC
by Joli Martinez 18 Jun '15

18 Jun '15

Hello, I have an edgemarc SBC that is doing all the trunk authentication for me. I need to create a trunk to the edgemarc and send all traffic to it. This trunk will not have any username or password. How can I create it? The edgemarc is already setup and all incomming traffic will be sent to the FS box as well as only allow outbound from the FS box. Thanks,
