mod_sofia sig11 with openssl-1.0.1g on lucid_x64
by Mihály Árva-Tóth 09 Apr '14

09 Apr '14

Hello, I compiled latest FS master branch (7bc92a11) on Ubuntu Lucid x64 with openssl-1.0.1g. Based on this thread: http://lists.freeswitch.org/pipermail/freeswitch-users/2014-February/102724… wget http://www.openssl.org/source/openssl-1.0.1g.tar.gz tar -zxvf openssl-1.0.1g.tar.gz cd openssl-1.0.1g ./config --prefix=/usr/local/openssl101g -fPIC make make install ln -s /usr/local/openssl101g /usr/local/openssl And then compile FS with: ./configure --enable-sse MOD_CFLAGS="-g -ggdb3" CFLAGS="-I/usr/local/openssl/include" LDFLAGS="-L/usr/local/openssl/lib" make make install Compile and install were successful. But when I try to start freeswitch, I get segmentation fault when loading mod_sofia. I'm not advanced debugger, when I run gdb: Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault. #0 0x00007f89b0e876b8 in ssl_cipher_strength_sort () from /usr/local/lib/libfreeswitch.so.1 Have you got any idea what's the wrong? If I follow these steps on Ubuntu Precise that is works and no sig11. Thank you! -- Best regards, Mihály Árva-Tóth System Engineer

by Mario G 08 Apr '14

08 Apr '14

An FYI to the OSX folks, several days of testing on many partitions to figure out why we need CLT installed twice. Drove me nuts. I summarized it: https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Installation_on_OS_X_10.9_Mavericks#OS_X_D… If I ever notices this resolved I will update the info. Mario G

Delayed sound after answer
by Oleg Stolyar 08 Apr '14

08 Apr '14

Hi guys, I have the following in my dialplan: <condition field="${<some field>}" expression="<some expression>"> <action application="answer"/> <action application="set" data="api_hangup_hook=curl <some URL>"/> * <action application="playback" data="tone_stream://v=0;%(1000,0,600)" />* <action application="conference" data="$1@default"/> </condition> Notice the line in bold. In most cases the tone plays fine but in some cases it is shorter than 1 second and in a few cases it does not play at all. Has anyone run into this? Is there a way to make the occasional media delay after answer go away?

mod_skinny --> Calling numbers with various lenght
by MS-R-IT 08 Apr '14

Hello, In Germany we don´t have number as you have in USA let me explain my customer has one number which has a 5-digit prefix followed by a 3-digit suffix my personal number has also a 5 digit prefix but a 7-digit suffix and so on. I have take a look on chan_sccp for asterisk to check how is it maid there and I think I´m right by saying they have a timeout set for each dialed digit so the call is processed, when a delay from 1 second is reached and no other Digit is send. I could not find the function in mod_skinny.c where the digits gets fetched. Hello, About a year ago Yealink and Freeswitch announced a partnership; what does this exactly means? We had a tender for SIP phones, and Yealink is one of them. There is some interoperability problem with MWI, and I have no idea who is the side to fix it... The problem is that FreeSwitch sends MWI notification even for extensions not subscribed for MWI. When Yealink receives it, it sets the MWI light on (although we do not want it). Polycom ignores that NOTIFY for lines marked as "not MWI subscribe", while Yealink says "I got it, so I have to process it". So, what is the correct behaviour? Thanks, __Yehavi:
