VAD / TALK / NOTALK on ongoing call
by Gerald Weber 28 Jan '14

28 Jan '14

Hi, is it possible to enable VAD to get TALK / NOTALK events for an ongoing call, i.e. switch_channel_set_variable(channel, "rtp_enable_vad_in", "true"); switch_channel_set_variable(channel, "rtp_enable_vad_out", "true"); switch_channel_set_variable(channel, "fire_talk_events", "true"); switch_channel_set_variable(channel, "fire_not_talk_events", "true"); Or is there another way to do this resp. Is this event possible ? Thanks in advance. gw

About "vm-mailto" para
by sparklezou 28 Jan '14

28 Jan '14

Hi FS buddies, I have reade https://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Mod_voicemail#vm-mailto Multiple email addresses can be defined using a comma-separated list. When set multiple email address, such as <param name="vm-mailto" value="user101@mydomain.com,user102@mydomain.com"/> In the original send message, it shows as: To: <user101@mydomain.com,user102@mydomain.com> I think, the correct one should be: To: <user101(a)mydomain.com>,<user102(a)mydomain.com> It seems one bug, right? Thanks! 2014-01-28 sparklezou

Duplicated gateways [WARNING] sofia.c:2937 Ignoring duplicate gateway ...
by Michal Borkowski - MORCOM 28 Jan '14

28 Jan '14

Hi! Just at the beginning - I'm new to Freeswitch. Previously I was using Asterisk - so some point of view in my case could be affected by Asterisk approach. And - I have the book about FreeSwitch 1.2 trying to find the answer to my problem. My problem is probably basic. I have a set of incoming gateways. All of those are (should) registered as I want to receive a phone calls. When I had only one GW defined - everything works fine. The problem is if I have more than one defined (I use FusionPBX interface to create those). In log files I'm getting that message: [WARNING] sofia.c:2937 Ignoring duplicate gateway And only one GW is registered - the rest fail. The box is behind the NAT - but I think it should not have any influence in that case. Actually for incoming I use two providers - provider 1 - I have only one account, provider 2-5 - is the same provider with multiple accounts. I was trying to find similar issue description in the list - but I didn't manage to find. And in the book - there is information how to set up gateway - but no info how to deal with multiple accounts... and gateways. Can anybody point me where is the problem? BRGDS Mike

while in a bridge - is it possible to bridge one leg to another destination
by Ali Pey 27 Jan '14

27 Jan '14

Hello, Say A is bridge to B. I have dind_digit_action set for some in call feature. When the digit is detected: 1- I need to put the A leg on hold 2- Bridge the B leg to another destination I can't use att_xfer as it doesn't have all the features I need. Is it possible to have nested bridge? Is it possible to kill the first bridge and the bridge the calls again later? Right now, I get no speech path on the second bridge and I can't find a way to kill the first bridge, it's always there until one leg hangs up. Is there a way to achieve this? Any suggestions? Thanks, Ali Pey

Will sqllite on a ramdisk be more performant than postgres with the db on a ramdisk?
by Clinton Goudie-Nice 27 Jan '14

27 Jan '14

I've got a piece of tech that I'm working on where I don't really need to worry all that much about recreating the FS DB on a reboot. With that in mind, I'm thinking about one of two options: 1) Sqllite on a ramdisk. 2) Postgres with the db for FS placed on a ramdisk. What do you think I will get higher performance out of?

originate and record command help
by sunil more 27 Jan '14

27 Jan '14

Hi All, I am trying originate and bridge a call from the freeswitch CLi usng the below command, originate {ignore_early_media=true}sofia/mypbx.com/7011@192.168.1.142:5060 &bridge([absolute_codec_string=PCMU]sofia/mypbx.com/7012@192.168.1.142:5060) the above command works fine. However I want to know how can I modify the above command to record this call session once this call is bridged. I dont want to use a different command but just pass a command with the originate command. Thanks in advance. -- Sunil More

FIFO a video call?
by efernandez99＠hushmail.com 27 Jan '14

27 Jan '14

Good evening FS fellows, Is there any way to make video calls (H.264/H.263+) be queued like modfifo does with regular voice calls? Want to setup multiple grandstream GXV3175 auto off hook into a queue where Bria agents pick the video call up without toggling from voice to video. I'm doing it right now with regular bridge extensions but wanted to see if there was a way to put them in some sort of 'queue'. Be cool to even have it do a play_fsv for the 'hold music/video' ?? Thanks, Eric Fernández
