mod_callcenter question
by Ira Tessler 26 Sep '13

26 Sep '13

Does the calls_answered column in the agent table ever get reset to 0? If I am using a “agent-with-fewest-calls” strategy and say I add a new agent. Does that new agent get all the calls until the calls_answered counter catches up? Or if an agent logs out and then logs back into a queue say a day later, does he get all the calls until he catches up? Unable to transfer calls between 2 locations
by Charles Bujold 26 Sep '13

26 Sep '13

Need help trying to figure out the problem. I'm having a problem with transferring calls between 2 offices. Office A where the freeswitch server resided receives the call which is sent and answered by a user in Office B (connected and using the Freeswitch server located in office A) . User in office 2 wants to transfer the call to a user located in Office A. The problem is the call transfer seems to work in part, in that the calling person is placed on hold and hears the music on hold, while the user in Office B talks to the user In office A to let them know who is calling. The user in office B hang up the call having talked to the end user in office A to complete the transfer. At that point the Caller is not transferred to the user in office A but is transferred to the voicemail of the User in office A. What we want is once the user in office B hangs up the transfer is made to user A and not his voicemail. Trying to find the error in the call log and I am unable to locate the problem. Can you suggest what to look for or even better what could be the problem. Thanks Cjb

Global Variable Domain Scoped
by crazygabry 26 Sep '13

26 Sep '13

Hello everybody! I'm setting up a Multi Tenant FS server and i'd like to define global variables for every customer in order to implement features like Day/Nite mode like the guide posted on http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Simple_Day_Nite_Mode Defining variables on vars.xml, i think i'll not have a clean variables space if i put on the server more than one domain. Do you suggest me a way to solve this in a clean way? Thank you in advice Gabriele -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/Global-Variable-Domain-Scoped… Sent from the freeswitch-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

If viewing fs_cli and there's a nasty error (eg. in a lua script) you can see some red text flash by. Is there a good way to capture this into a file?

Gsmopen: K3520 automatic device discovery
by Johannes Stads 25 Sep '13

25 Sep '13

Hello. I've built FS on a CentOS 6.4 virtual machine (MacOS 10.8 Parallels) using minimal config for testing with Huawei K3520 dongle. It was initially unlocked (Vodafone DE) and voice enabled by default. Using manual USB port config all worked fine including calls and sms, voice quality was good. It uses USB2 port for modem, and USB1 for audio. I tried to attach 2 dongles, made udev rule and that worked fine too, however this scenario does not guarantee the same order in which dongles are seen after each reboot. Automatic device discovery does not seem to work with that dongle. I specified IMSI for each dongle, or IMEA, or both. Every time mod_gsmopen tries to use /dev/ttyUSB3 which is not a proper choice for those dongles. I can see K3520 in the list of supported dongles. Maybe something I do wrong. Any idea? Jo
