ACL question
by Seven Du 28 Jul '13

28 Jul '13

Hi, I know ACL is to block or allow an IP to reg or call. But in practise, if an IP is allowed then it won't check the User directory again so cannot match to the user info stored in the user directory and dialplan route to the public context. <node type="allow" cidr="192.168.1.123/32"/> 2013-07-28 22:11:04.647358 [DEBUG] sofia.c:7915 IP 192.168.1.123 Approved by acl "domains[]". Access Granted. 2 If I set the cidr attribute in the user directory, but it seems been parsed to the ACL so it also allows any other users to reg or call from that url. Below is a log that shows Access Granted when I actually set the cidr to 1000 but calling with 1001. FS doesn't challenge 1001. 2013-07-28 22:07:14.347320 [DEBUG] sofia.c:7915 IP 192.168.1.123 Approved by acl "domains[1000(a)192.168.1.123 (mailto:1000@192.168.1.123)]". Access Granted. 2013-07-28 22:07:14.347320 [DEBUG] sofia.c:8045 Authenticating user 1000(a)192.168.1.123 (mailto:1000@192.168.1.123) Is it a problem? Is it possible to check the ip *and* the user? e.g. user 1000 can only reg from ip IP with password 1234. Thanks. -- Seven Du http://www.freeswitch.org.cn http://about.me/dujinfang http://www.dujinfang.com Sent with Sparrow (http://www.sparrowmailapp.com/?sig)

How to have messages from CsipSimple encrypted
by George Ionescu 27 Jul '13

27 Jul '13

Hi guys, Is there any possibility to have the messages encrypted between 2 csipsimple devices? In this moment I have configured the devices to use TLS and ZRTP but when I sniff the messages with tcpdump from the FS server I can see the messages in clear text. On the other hand the calls are encrypted OK. Thanks George

Subject: Re: RFC4575 and RFC4579 Freeswitch Version 1.5
by Jonathan Hunter 27 Jul '13

27 Jul '13

Hi Anthony, Ok thanks for that I appreciate your comments. I have tried all the things Seven mentioned and unfortunately the behavior is the same. Can I just confirm before I move to Jira that if a client (and Im using the latest Blink client on windows, and also same operation is seen with Jitsi client) that when the client sends a SUBSCRIBE to Freeswitch, that it should start to get NOTIFY responses straight away? Many thanks Jon --Forwarded Message Attachment--From: anthony.minessale(a)gmail.comTo: freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.orgDate: Mon, 15 Jul 2013 16:49:25 -0500Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-users] Subject: Re: RFC4575 and RFC4579 Freeswitch Version 1.5Do you have the latest blink and the mac version? That is the only version I know to be working with this feature. Have you tried the things that Seven mentioned. As I already said, I tested this Friday on latest FS HEAD and latest Blink and it was working. If you still have a problem you should probably move this to jira since you cannot have this kind of discussion over the mailing list if you need to share traces etc.

Call Recovery when using TCP
by Anthony McGarry 27 Jul '13

27 Jul '13

Hi, FreeSWITCH (Version 1.2.11 git c9790ea 2013-07-16 02:46:21Z) I have two physical boxes active/passive using heartbeat and corosync. Using FS as an SBC with two profiles. Internal and Private. Both profiles are using track-calls for call recovery. Works fine when using UDP as the transport for both legs. Works fine when A leg uses UDP and B leg uses TCP Fails when A leg uses TCP and b leg uses either UDP or TCP. It seems that the A leg always uses UDP as the transport for the INVITE to recover. Even if the initial call used TCP before the failure. Anyone using TCP in this scenario? Cannot find what I'm missing. Thanks A
