Capture 401 Unauthorized
by Andre DeMattia 07 Nov '13

How do I capture the CDR of a 401? Currently the CDR is pretty much missing any valuable data. I just need a way to record the unauthorized person's user name/ip and timestamp to record it.

Problem with X-PRE-PROCESS cmd="exec" and recursive wget
by Victor Chukalovskiy 06 Nov '13

06 Nov '13

Greetings, I need to grab content of all .xml files in a dir recursively with wget. My test folder contains context1.xml and context2.xml. I do the following in freeswitch.xml: <X-PRE-PROCESS cmd="exec" data="wget -r -l 1 -np -nd -A xml -q -O - ftp://myhost/"/> Problem: it does not insert any lines after I "reloadxml" and check in freeswitch.xml.fsxml If I run the same from terminal wget returns lines that I expect: [victor@hostname]# wget -r -l 1 -np -nd -A xml -q -O - ftp://myhost/ <context name="context1"> </context> <context name="context2"> </context> [victor@hostname]# So, I'm puzzled why FS does not pick-up what "wget -r" writes into stdout? Or does it? :-) For comparison, X-PRE-PROCESS works with the same files requested non-recursively: <X-PRE-PROCESS cmd="exec" data="wget -q -O - ftp://myhost/context1.xml"/> <X-PRE-PROCESS cmd="exec" data="wget -q -O - ftp://myhost/context2.xml"/> Thank you, Victor

mod managed [SuppressUnmanagedCodeSecurity] substantial performance
by Andre 06 Nov '13

06 Nov '13

HI, I noticed on the mod managed wrapper that [SuppressUnmanagedCodeSecurity] is not added to the classes. Per Microsoft adding this will give substantial performance. Is there any reason why it's not added and is it possible to have it added to the official Freeswitch project? This attribute can be applied to methods that want to call into native code without incurring the performance loss of a run-time security check when doing so. The stack walk performed when calling unmanaged code is omitted at run time, resulting in substantial performance savings. Using this attribute in a class applies it to all contained methods. Thanks Andre

Hi! Yes, I agree! Best use OS without GUI environment. but: 1) all the examples I've found use of Debian (FS + Raspberry) 2) but I do not run X, and judging by the processes of unnecessary overhead costs not 3) just starting FS loads the CPU to 100% 4) FS without load is not significant 5) I can try to uninstall the components of desktop OS http://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/4745/how-to-uninstall-x-serv… 6) I can try a different operating system specifically for the server 7) RasPBX -- asterisk use Raspbian too USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND root 1 0.0 0.1 2140 712 ? Putting CDR's together
by Andre 06 Nov '13

06 Nov '13

I'm using hangup_complete_with_xml=true and export,hangup_complete_with_xml=true to generate my CDR's and I get my CDR's from the hang-up body variable. I can't find anyway to put them together. What UUID is the tie together UUID? I see call-uuid works if it's only 1 A and one B but if you have limit or something that rejects the B and then next bridge fires the Call-uuid doesn't match. Thanks for any help

Re: [Freeswitch-users] Paid support required - bind_digit_action does not work when the call is sent to a script through socket (ESL)
by Ali Pey 05 Nov '13

Hello, I opened a jira ticket for this since it seems to be a bug. We have tested with a couple of freeswitch versions plus the Git Head and it doesn't work. Ticket# FS-5941 http://jira.freeswitch.org/browse/FS-5941 Can someone tell me how I can get paid support? This is very critical for us and we need it resolved as soon as possible. I have sent emails to freeswitch support few times requesting paid support and have not received any responses. Not even an acknowledgement. Please help. bind_digit_action - multiple digits not working
by Brandon Lee 05 Nov '13

05 Nov '13

Hello, I am running into 2 issues with bind_digit_action as follows: 1. When I try to add multiple digit patterns, the only one that works is the one with the #. I tried *1234, 1234, however, freeswitch can't find a match. <action application="set" data="bridge_pre_execute_bleg_app=bind_digit_action"/> <action application="set" data="bridge_pre_execute_bleg_data=mydigit,1234,exec:transfer,1234,self,peer/> <action application="set" data="bridge_pre_execute_bleg_data=mydigit,#4567,exec:transfer,4567,self,peer/> <action application="set" data="bridge_pre_execute_bleg_data=mydigit,4568,exec:transfer,4568,self,peer/> <action application="set" data="bridge_pre_execute_bleg_data=mydigit,2344,exec:execute_extension,2344,self,peer/> 2. When the att_xfer is executed, I load the similar XML as above so that the person the call was transfered to can have the same transfer features. However, this is not the case. I believe it has something to do with the new call being on the C leg since the A & C leg are now joined. In any case, how would I enable the transfer features for the person the call was transferred to?
