mod_cdr_pg_csv not loading automatically
by Cliff Wells 05 Oct '11

05 Oct '11

I have this in modules.conf.xml: <load module="mod_cdr_pg_csv"/> <load module="mod_event_socket"/> but mod_cdr_pg doesn't autoload. However, if I use fs_cli and "load mod_cdr_pg_csv", it loads and works fine. This is a fresh install from git yesterday. Unfortunately I can't restart FS until tonight (it's a production system) to see the startup messages, but I wonder if anyone has seen this type of behavior (my older system didn't have this issue). Scientific Linux 6.1 x86_64. Regards, Cliff

mod_avmd - Does this work for anyone on current builds?
by Jason Moran 05 Oct '11

05 Oct '11

I tried out mod_avmd 6+ months back and had some success. However, I cannot seem to get it to trip any longer on newer builds of FS. The avmd_detect variable is blank and no event fires on multiple carriers and destination phones. Does anybody else have success on current/recent builds of FS? Thanks, Jason Example code: function onInput(s, type, obj, arg) { try { if(type == "event" && session.getVariable("avmd_detect") == "TRUE") { console_log("info", "Voicemail Detected\n"); session.execute("avmd", "stop"); session.execute("sleep", "200"); session.streamFile('/usr/local/freeswitch/recordings/playbackfile.wav'); if(session.ready()) //Only hangup if onDTMF code has finished. { session.execute("hangup","ORIGINATOR_CANCEL"); //session.hangup doesn't give the code we want } return false; // don't allow original playback file to continue } } catch (e) { console_log("err", e + "\n"); } return true; } session = new Session('{ origination_caller_id_number=[deleted]}sofia/gateway/[deleted]/'+argv[0] ); if (session.ready()) { session.execute("sleep","500"); session.execute("avmd", "start"); console_log("info", "avmd started\n"); session.streamFile('/usr/local/freeswitch/recordings/playbackfile.wav', onInput); console_log("info","avmd_detect value is:"+session.getVariable("avmd_detect")+"\n"); if ( session.ready( ) ) { session.hangup( ); } }

using sip-force-contact with a gateway
by Julien Chavanton 05 Oct '11

05 Oct '11

Hi, I am dealing with an Asterisk server behind NAT that is not set properly, with its external IP I am asking them to fix it on there side but I am curious to know if there is a way to deal with this implemented in FS Freeswitch --> Internet --> NAT --> Asterisk In the "200 OK" returned by Asterisk as the private IP in the "Contact" header FS is returning ACK to the private IP. INVITE ---> <--- 200 OK ---> ACK <--- 200 OK ---> ACK <--- 200 OK ---> ACK .... It seems <param name="apply-nat-acl" value="rfc1918"/><param name="aggressive-nat-detection" value="true"/> does It seems sip-force-contact could patch the problem caused by the remote gateway Is there a way to us sip-force-contact with gateway instead of an entry in the directory ?

My new web utility - Windows 7 gadget
by Valery Kalinin 04 Oct '11

04 Oct '11

I offer you my new web application for FreeSWITCH. This simple utility runs as a gadget for Windows 7 or Vista. When a call comes in, it displays a window with the name of the caller. If desired, the program can be customized to integrate with your CRM system or Helpdesk. Download at: https://sites.google.com/site/freeswitched/home/downloads It consists of two parts: server and client. The server part - a simple script fscp.php hosted on your web server that has access to the server FreeSWITCH. Allowing access to FreeSWITCH at the beginning of the file. These are the three variables: $FreeSWITCHserver = '127 .0.0.1 '; $FreeSWITCHport = 8021; $FreeSWITCHpassword = 'ClueCon'; The client part is made as a gadget for Windows 7/Vista. At its first launch should proceed with setup, specifying: Server address: Full address of the script fscp.php, for example: http://192.168.0.1/fscp.php Account: Account in FreeSWITCH, which calls for will be tracked, for example: 1000. When a call window will be displayed by means of VBScript (modal) or Javascript (the usual). Tests and features are welcome!

BLF on a Valet Park Orbit?
by Randy Andrade 04 Oct '11

04 Oct '11

Hey there, I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a way to use the fifo / parking functionality in Freeswitch to trigger BLF updates on a phone. IE, on a Cisco SPA508, I have BLF / SD keys setup with the default Freeswitch 6001-6099 valet park spots (no I don't have keys for all 99 spots, I'm just doing the first 5), with the normal syntax that I would use to monitor any other extension in Freeswitch. Although the SD's work great for sending a call to, and picking a call up from, each parking spot, it would be extremely handy if each spot could send BLF updates so as to indicate when someone was actively parked in that spot. So if I send someone to spot 6003, the SD key for 6003 would light up with the BLF function that a normal extension can be monitored with. I'm just curious whether anyone has seen this working or created similar functionality a different way. Thanks! Randy

Ok I just deleted some sqlite files in db directory and everything is fine. probably a corrupted db file. thanks ----- Original Message ----- From: Madovsky To: freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org Sent: Tuesday, October 04, 2011 1:37 PM Subject: persistant registration Hi all, sometimes sip registration stays persistant, even if the phone is not connected anymore. I can see this line in sofia status profile Status: Registered(UDP)(unknown) EXP(2011-10-04 09:38:40) EXPSECS(-14152) as you can see the expsecs is far under 0. any idea ? Thanks
