How can I join two freeswitch on two servers?
by Edmar Cruz 18 Dec '09

I like to connect two freeswitch, call each other, communicate and vice versa. Can you give me an example for that? No NOTIFY MWI when registering via proxy.
by mayamatakeshi 07 Dec '09

07 Dec '09

Hello, I'm testing FS support for the header Path (FS is behind opensips). It pretty much works: I tested calling from one user to the other and calls work perfectly. However, I've noticed that when I register my terminal directly with FS without going thru the proxy, I receive an unsolicited NOTIFY containing Message-Waiting information. But when I register via proxy, FS doesn't send this NOTIFY. What could be causing this difference of behavior? (enabling debug (F8) doesn't show anything for registration handling). I have just updated to trunk Revision 14729 and this behavior persists. Also, is it possible to disable this unsolicited MWI notification? (I want to send it only to subscribed terminals). regards, takeshi

Media got stuck after attended transfer...
by Klaus Hochlehnert 23 Nov '09

23 Nov '09

Hi, sometimes I have the problem that after doing an attended transfer the media got stuck in FS. Meaning the call goes through, but I don't hear anything and the caller still hears music. Now I found out that setting the sofia parameter media-option=resume-media-on-hold helps here. But after setting this parameter I always get the error "Codec PROXY PASS-THROUGH encoder error!" when using t38modem with proxy_media=true. So I stuck here. I can either use fax or do attended transfers. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks, Klaus

Problem with hangin bri
by Jakub Pawliński 06 Nov '09

06 Nov '09

Hi, I have some problems with bri status. I have 3 chanel isdn modem, and zaptel compatible quad bri card. I can invoke calls from my voip phone to cell phone, and vice versa, but when i make inbound and outbound connection in nearly same time something goes wrong with chanells and after few calls all of them has hangup status. There is log about that in attachement, see "is already in use waiting for it to become available." phrase. Time of this event is about 14:43:35. Unload and Load open_zap module helped, but its not an solution because of lost connections.
