Re: [Freeswitch-users] UUID of the newly originated call?
by Nagalenoj H. 24 Oct '09

24 Oct '09

I've tried with origination_uuid. First, I tried with SIP and my program executes successfully as what I expected. This program initiates a new call when a call comes and let the new call to eavesdrop the landed call. When, I experimented with PRI(openzap), I'm facing the following error. And, I am unable to make any calls(even from CLI). It is reporting the same error for the subsequent calls. Error: 2009-10-21 11:08:31.661252 [ERR] mod_openzap.c:1760 Session for channel 1:1 not found [UUID: 8364eb30-be03-11de-aa07-07e76b7651a9] Full log is in http://pastebin.freeswitch.org/10780 My script is here, http://pastebin.freeswitch.org/10781 What is this error for and how to avoid this? Is there any other way to get the uuid of the originated call except explicitly defining(origination_uuid).?! -- Regards, Nagalenoj H.

Re: [Freeswitch-users] Hostname

Please note that this would essentially be taking Chris' suggestion a little further but the effort involved would be minimal. ----- Original Message ----- From: Metik To: freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org Sent: Friday, October 23, 2009 5:37 PM Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-users] Hostname Why not simply overwrite the value of the variable used throughout the script... -- xml_curl.conf -- ... <param name="gateway-url" value="http://localhost/index.php?xhostname=myhost" bindings="dialplan"/> ... -- index.php -- <? $_REQUEST['hostname'] = "$xhostname"; ... ----- Original Message ----- From: freeswitch noob To: freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org Sent: Friday, October 23, 2009 4:42 PM Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-users] Hostname Yeah, I was just trying to make it easier on myself. It's because Sofia used one thread per profile so depending on load you will see one CPU used more. /b Sent from my HTC on the Now Network from Sprint! ----- Reply message ----- From: "DJB" <djbinter(a)yahoo.com> Date: Mon, Oct 19, 2009 9:13 PM Subject: [Freeswitch-users] CPU Usage Question To: "FREESWITCH-USERS MAILING LIST" <freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org> We have about 1500 concurrent calls on the server. Issues with SIP+TCP?
by Kristian Kielhofner 23 Oct '09

23 Oct '09

Hello everyone, I'm having some issues with SIP and TCP. I've used it before with success but I'm seeing some strange behavior... Level 7 debugs with siptrace on both profiles. UDP invite from softphone comes in on port 5062, it's supposed to bridge to 10.70.0.62. When configured to use UDP FS sends an INVITE (nothing currently answers) while TCP doesn't send anything (confirmed with siptrace and packet sniffer). I confirmed this behavior with a gateway configured for TCP and appending ;transport=tcp to a bridge line. This is trunk rev 15211 on an Intel Mac running Snow Leopard. I've also confirmed this behavior on an Intel Linux machine running Ubuntu (not sure of version ATM). TCP: http://pastebin.freeswitch.org/10825 UDP: http://pastebin.freeswitch.org/10826 dialplan (UDP): <extension name="smhpbx"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^(7887)$"> <action application="set" data="call_timeout=60"/> <action application="set" data="effective_caller_id_name=Voalte Test"/> <action application="set" data="effective_caller_id_number=19412848354"/> <action application="bridge" data="sofia/avaya/7887(a)10.70.0.62"/> </condition> </extension> dialplan (TCP): <extension name="smhpbx"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^(7887)$"> <action application="set" data="call_timeout=60"/> <action application="set" data="effective_caller_id_name=Voalte Test"/> <action application="set" data="effective_caller_id_number=19412848354"/> <action application="bridge" data="sofia/avaya/7887(a)10.70.0.62;transport=tcp"/> </condition> </extension> Any thoughts? EXCHANGE_ROUTING_ERROR -- how to diagnose?
by Matthew Fong 23 Oct '09

23 Oct '09

A few users of mine have been getting hung-up on after leg b of the bridge hangsups. I looked in the logs and they are being hungup with an EXCHANGE_ROUTING_ERROR hangup cause. The problem is only occurring intermittently and only when both leg a and leg b are both passed thru external gateways (the problem does *not* exist if leg a is a softphone connected directly to FS). I'm wondering if there are any known incompatibilities with equipment out there that would cause this error. Otherwise, I assume the best way to diagnosis this further is to ngrep, which I'll do, but thought I'd ask here first. Force registering external gateways though OpenSIPS load balancer
by Peter P GMX 23 Oct '09

23 Oct '09

Hello, in a freeswitch cluster (FS1 and FS2) behind an OpenSIPS I want Freeswitch to register to external gateways through the OpenSIPS load balancer, in order to later receive incoming calls through the load balancer. Is there a way to tell Freeswitch in it's Gateway definition to define an additional path (e.g. fs_path) for it's registration, so that all registrations go via the OpenSIPS load balancer? Current flow FS1(register) => external_gateway (1st FS Machine) external_gateway(invite) =>FS1 FS2(register) => external_gateway (2nd FS Machine) external_gateway(invite) =>FS2 Desired flow FS1(register) => OpenSIPS => external_gateway (1st FS Machine) external_gateway(invite) => OpenSIPS => FS1 FS2(register) => OpenSIPS => external_gateway (2nd FS Machine) external_gateway(invite) => OpenSIPS =>FS2 I tried to add "fs_path" to the gateway definition, but had no success. It still registered directly. Maybe by adding via route information or modifying contact header? Best regards Peter.
