1U servers and Sangoma A102 Card
by John Nicholson 24 Sep '08

24 Sep '08

Anyone had any luck getting the Sangoma A 102 card into a 1 U box? I'm looking to build 2 freeswitch servers for redundancy, and was wondering if anyone has had any luck getting these cards to work with 1U riser cards and if so with what brand of case/mobo? Any recommended bare bones kits would be awesome too. I'm not afraid to install a ESB motherboard or anything its just the last time I did it, it ended up involving a vise and a hacksaw, and the CEO isn't amused to walking in on such scenes in our tech department.

VoiceXML and Speaker Identification Support
by Ryan, Jay 24 Sep '08

24 Sep '08

Hi, I am new to freeswitch. I have a few questions: 1. Is there a way to get a VoiceXML browser (e.g. i6net) glued into freeswitch? 2. How about a more challenging integration of speaker identification (not ASR...an sdk that says...oh I know who this speaker is). 3. Are the integrated tts and asr capabilities strong enough for carrier class / fortune 500 operations? Thanks!!

Re: [Freeswitch-users] DID partially working
by Jair Santos 24 Sep '08

24 Sep '08

Hi, I am back to this thread because the problem is happening again. I didn't touch any of the conf files so it should be working. Calling the DIDs from an extension works but when calling from pstn it doesn't. It keep ringing for some time and the return a busy signal. No output in the FS console. In the public.xml I have this <extension name="public_did"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^(3462101)$"/> <condition field="${sip_h_X-DID}" expression="^(3105266066)$"> <action application="transfer" data="1000"/> </condition> </extension> <extension name="public_did01"> <condition field="destination_number" expression="^(3462101)$"/> <condition field="${sip_h_X-DID}" expression="^(011551133015337)$"> <action application="transfer" data="1001"/> </condition> </extension> Any help will be appreciated. thanks Jair
