Firefox long delay before audio
by Kakiman Expert 05 Oct '22

Hello I made some tests yesterday with firefox and i noticed that there is between 40 seconds to 1 minute to wait to have audio in both sides. Before this long delay, no audio at all. any idea ? there is no issue with Chrome and Edge but on Firefox it happens, whatever the version of FF in the logs of freeswitch (1.10.6), when the audio starts I saw that the sounds comes only when i have these messages on the log : 2022-10-04 18:01:11.024763 [DEBUG] sofia.c:7406 Channel sofia/internal/ tob9j1ug(a)192.0.2.95 entering state [ready][200] 2022-10-04 18:01:11.384761 [INFO] switch_rtp.c:3284 Changing audio DTLS state from HANDSHAKE to SETUP 2022-10-04 18:01:11.404763 [INFO] switch_rtp.c:3191 audio Fingerprint Verified. 2022-10-04 18:01:11.404763 [INFO] switch_rtp.c:4282 Activating audio Secure RTP SEND 2022-10-04 18:01:11.404763 [INFO] switch_rtp.c:4260 Activating audio Secure RTP RECV 2022-10-04 18:01:11.404763 [DEBUG] switch_core_sqldb.c:2836 Secure Type: srtp:dtls:AES_CM_128_HMAC_SHA1_80 2022-10-04 18:01:11.404763 [INFO] switch_rtp.c:3233 Changing audio DTLS state from SETUP to READY 2022-10-04 18:01:11.404763 [DEBUG] switch_core_sqldb.c:2836 Secure Type: srtp:dtls:AES_CM_128_HMAC_SHA1_80 2022-10-04 18:01:11.424762 [DEBUG] switch_core_media.c:16097 Engaging Write Buffer at 1920 bytes to accommodate 1920->1920 2022-10-04 18:01:11.444761 [DEBUG] switch_rtp.c:1923 rtcp_stats_init: audio ssrc[479325149] base_seq[3323]

If you didn't update your libsofia then the issue will persist, the fix was down in libsofia and that is in a different repo now. Have you tried: <param name="mailer-app" value="/usr/share/freeswitch/scripts/emailwav.sh"/> <param name="mailer-app-args" value="whatever you want the script to see"/> In other words, specify the "app" as the script name, and the "args" as the parameters you want to pass it. This assumes that your script is executable by the freeswitch user and contains "#!/bin/bash" as the first line. Where you say the app you want is sendmail, I think this is your problem, instead tell it your shell script and make the arguments what you want and the shell script will invoke sendmail itself. Bump. Can anyone help with this please? I have tried the manuals and searches and I am stuck. Also, why is my message always made an attachment in the list. I have it set to send "Plain Text". Original Message: I have a shell script that sends my voicemail files as I need them to be sent. However, I cannot get that emailwav.sh file called. In switch.conf.xml I changed: <param name="mailer-app" value="sendmail"/> <param name="mailer-app-args" value="-t"/> To: <param name="mailer-app" value="/bin/bash /usr/share/freeswitch/scripts/emailwav.sh"/> <param name="mailer-app-args" value=""/> and restarted Freeswitch. It still tries to send with sendmail. Get registrations via fs_cli or API
by Bernd Krueger-Knauber 29 Sep '22

29 Sep '22

Hi, today I found something which can't be right: show registrations results in a total of 26. sofia status profile internal reg results in 37 entries show registrations does not show the 'double' registrations on same extensions. In my opinion this is a bug. The way via sofia is complicated, since you need to check all profiles. And it is also more complicated to parse the output. We are using version 1.10.7 Any ideas? Best regrads, Bernd

send voicemail with shell script
by Sean Devoy 29 Sep '22

29 Sep '22

Hi, I have a shell script that sends my voicemail files as I need them to be sent. However, I cannot get that emailwav.sh file to be called. In switch.conf.xml I changed: <param name="mailer-app" value="sendmail"/> <param name="mailer-app-args" value="-t"/> To: <param name="mailer-app" value="/bin/bash /usr/share/freeswitch/scripts/emailwav.sh"/> <param name="mailer-app-args" value=""/> and restarted Freeswitch. It still tries to send with sendmail. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks. Sean
