Physical non virtualized server: switch_time.c:967 Virtual Migration Detected! Syncing Clock
by Yehavi Bourvine 16 Jul '13

16 Jul '13

Hello, I am running FS on a physical server (16 core Xeon) and got the above error. The server runs entOS 5.9, and one of the latest FS gits. When I had this message FS was freezing for a while, and active calls lost the voice (I think, can't correlate exactly). 1.What does this message means on a non-virtualized server? 2. Can it explain the freeze? 3. What can I do to overcome it? Thanks! __Yehavi:

Subject: Re: RFC4575 and RFC4579 Freeswitch Version 1.5
by Jonathan Hunter 15 Jul '13

Hi all, Ive tried configuration in a number of ways and cant seem to get NOTIFY requests as required, I have tried configuration with ++flags as this works when using other flags, just not with rfc-4579 to this point. I attached the sofia debug in a previous posting so maybe that will shed some light. Thanks Jon --Forwarded Message Attachment-- From: dujinfang(a)gmail.com To: freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org Date: Sat, 13 Jul 2013 15:57:09 +0800 Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-users] RFC4575 and RFC4579 Freeswitch Version 1.5 In my experience Blink will subscribe to the conference name 3000@domain, so if you use 3000 as conference name it should work, but if 3000@domain as conference name it might result to SUBSCRIBE 3000@domain@domain, not sure if this subscribe to the right conference and maybe need a presence map? 7. I am making basic calls to a conference with flag rfc-4579 defined and the client connects to the conference, and FS as expected sends back the ;isfocus parameter on its contact address in the 200 ok. As a result the client I'm using (blink) sends a SUBSCRIBE, with Event: conference, which FS in turn sends a 202 Accepted response to. However after this point I get no NOTIFY messages at all to the initial SUBSCRIBE and for subsequent changes in the conference. I notice if a SUBSCRIBE for messages, or presence are sent, they are responded to without issue with a NOTIFY from Freeswitch. Please can someone advise if this is a configuration issue or something else that needs exploring? Any help would be great. I can see Freeswitch responds with a 202 accepted to the SUBSCRIBE for event conference, then I see no NOTIFY responses. Question on switch_core_media_bug_add
by Stephen Wilde 15 Jul '13

15 Jul '13

Hi all, I'm trying to capture early media packets of an originated call without success. I first call the: switch_ivr_originate() with ignore_early_media=false that returns success then I call the: switch_core_media_bug_add() with SMBF_READ_REPLACE that returns also success and also I see a call to my callback with: type=SWITCH_ABC_TYPE_INIT The problem is that during early media phase I don't see any call to my media bug callback. The callback is called only when the call is answered. Any idea on that? What is my error? Stephen

Is Cluecon for me?
by admin 15 Jul '13

15 Jul '13

Hi, Just thought some of you could help me decide about attendance. Just put in first system, learning fast, but many times the hard way! Worked through the books and wiki, so I am past being a beginner. I was looking at the list of presentations and although they seemed very interesting, I need some "intermediate" knowledge. Most conferences I attend, I seem to learn as much around the other attendees as I do in the formal sessions. If you have any thoughts I would greatly appreciate them. I also need to justify the expense... Thanks, James
