Hi, I'm looking for IP-dects where a base station can handle 5 phones (which all should be able to talk at the same time). All suggestions are welcome. Regards, Jonas

by mehroz 10 Sep '13

10 Sep '13

Hi, Anyone with an experience of SIP SIMPLE IM Messaging implemention? I dont see the stuff well documented on http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Mod_sms <http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Mod_sms> I followed simple steps to test it with reply back as in default chatplan. <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <include> <context name="default"> <extension name="demo"> <condition field="to" expression="^(.*)$"> <action application="reply" data="Hello, you said: ${_body}"/> </condition> </extension> </context> </include> I tested it with eyeBeam, Jitsi, it doesnt work, and i do not see reply back. and i see in logs: 2013-03-07 14:58:49.090936 [INFO] mod_sms.c:334 Processing text message 9999->9999 in context default Chatplan: 9999 parsing [default->demo] continue=false Chatplan: 9999(a)198.84.61.52 Regex (PASS) [demo] to(9999(a)198.84.61.52) =~ /^(.*)$/ break=on-false Chatplan: 9999(a)198.84.61.52 Action reply(Hello, you said: ${_body}) -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/IM-messaging-on-FreeSwitch-tp… Sent from the freeswitch-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

eavesdrop not sending video
by D D 08 Sep '13

08 Sep '13

Hi, I tried to use eavesdrop to capture the video of a parked call, but I only receive the audio. I have followed the directions described at http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Video-recording (including a rebuild after doing the git checkout of video-media-bug), and I can successfully use record_fsv to record the video to a file. Any ideas why the eavesdrop does not send the video? Thanks, David

TLS setup failed (after changing key type)
by mehroz 22 Aug '13

22 Aug '13

Hi all, My SIP over TLS is working perfect as long as i used gentls_cert script. I have changed script to create ECC keys and changed that script replacing with : openssl ecparam -name secp160r2 -out CA_CURVE.pem openssl req -out "${CONFDIR}/CA/cacert.pem" -new -x509 -keyout "${CONFDIR}/CA/cakey.pem" -newkey ec:CA_CURVE.pem -config "${TMPFILE}.cfg" -nodes -days ${DAYS} -sha1 >/dev/null openssl req -new -out "${TMPFILE}.req" -newkey ec:CA_CURVE.pem -keyout "${TMPFILE}.key" -config "${TMPFILE}.cfg" -nodes -sha1 And since then, i see "TLS setup failed"... any one? -- View this message in context: http://freeswitch-users.2379917.n2.nabble.com/TLS-setup-failed-after-changi… Sent from the freeswitch-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

How to attche custom "content-type" in Freeswitch SIP message
by xiaofengcanyuexp＠163.com 05 Aug '13

05 Aug '13

Dear support, I''m trying to encapsulate my private "application/isup" in the SIP Msg. Normally, it should like below example. It firstly addresses "Content-Type: multipart/mixed;boundary=QRLVLNKeKxWDHAuwlEkR". And then can write private "content-type" like "application/sdp". Now I can see the application/sdp is encapsulated via variable "switch_r_sdp". Is there anyway to encapsulated other customized "content-type"? Appreciate to get your reply. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is an example of SIP message which encapsulated "applicaiton/sdp" and "application/isup". Mutual Authentication
by Burak BorYazılım 16 Jul '13

16 Jul '13

Hi, I want to know that does FS support mutual authentication while using TLS. More clearly, does FS send its certificate to client or not? FS can verify the client but I have problems when the clients' server verification and i thought that FS does not send some necessary files(maybe certificate for example) for mutual authentication. I used android phones for clients. Thank you, Regards...

Problem with rtp streams and stair-stepped (or ramped) increased lag
by Nathan Neulinger 10 Jul '13

10 Jul '13

Having some occasional user reports of problem calls where they are fine, and then something happens on the call and lag increases significantly, sometimes up to 2+ seconds. I've got severe examples on both cisco and polycom phones. What I'm seeing looks like the call is going perfectly for a period of time (sometimes up to a few minutes), and then there is a period of time with higher latency packets, and the overall delay in the graph increases steadily at that point, and never recovers. It sounded like rtp-autoflush-during-bridge might be something relevant, but that's set to the default. Also saw "rtp-rewrite-timestamps", but unclear if that is necessary here. I've got pcap captures of the rtp streams if that'll help any. -- Nathan ------------------------------------------------------------ Nathan Neulinger nneul(a)mst.edu Missouri S&T Information Technology (573) 612-1412 System Administrator - Architect
