Context features not found -- some explanation?

My xml_curl testing script perfectly returns att_xfer in context features. Is there some sort of permission issue with contexts that I've never heard of..? Thanks, -Avi

State of GUIs
by Brett Wilson 10 Jun '12

10 Jun '12

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any info on the current state of FS guis? It seems that most of the gui projects (blue.box, fusionpbx) have been mostly abandoned in terms of development. I would like something simple for end users to self-administer if needed. The problem I have with fusionpbx is that config files are overwritten by whatever is in the database. If you hand-edit a config file, fusion will not parse the file and load those settings into the interface. I realize that takes much more coding to do than using a database to simply write config files. But I feel that the freeswitch interface could be improved anyway. Unfortunately it seems that project has been abandoned. There have not been any releases since mid-2011. Anything new out or around the corner? Glad to hear. I still say to build the app and logic completely separately and connect it to FreeSWITCH over the socket using ESL. -- Kristian Kielhofner http://blog.krisk.org ----- Original Message ----- From: freeswitch-users-bounces(a)lists.freeswitch.org <freeswitch-users-bounces(a)lists.freeswitch.org> To: freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org <freeswitch-users(a)lists.freeswitch.org> Sent: Wed May 12 18:28:13 2010 Subject: Re: [Freeswitch-users] Questions on Building an application forFreeSWITCHThis is legit. We are not into harassing anyone. There are too many people doing that already. We currently have this working on a Windows/Dialogic platform, but would like to get it over to FreeSWITCH for a number of reasons. It is always nice to avoid spending alot of time developing using a method that you later find has serious issues or limitations and then having to change horses and start over. I just thought I would tap on someone else's wisdom in regards to a good way to talk to FS that works well. I did notice that the wiki talks like LUA is the preferred way to go. Thanks Dave, We already tried "NDLB-connectile-dysfunction=true" as the client (Yealink T28P) is not using rport in its VIA header. But still no luck freeswitch still sending the response to the port in Contact header (5062) instead of the recieving port (14335). 5062 port is actually not valid as the client is behind NAT and only can get the response if freeswitch will send it to 14335 port. Do you have any other idea about this? :-( ......... Regards, Belint > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > From: "Dave R. Unable to use mod_java.

Hi ! I have been trying to enable mod_java with FS but am having problems. I was able to compile mod_java fine. However FS is having trouble loading the module. It errors out with the following error message: 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [ERR] modjava.c:326 Error creating Java VM!, I believe I have the CLASSPATH/PATH variables set up correctly in my configuration files. In fact I put in some debug statements in modjava.c. Below is the debug output showing the various variables: 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [NOTICE] modjava.c:349 Java Framework Loading... 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [ERR] modjava.c:299 VENKY optionCount: 7 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [ERR] modjava.c:302 VENKY option: -Djava.class.path=/usr/local/freeswitch/scripts 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [ERR] modjava.c:302 VENKY option: -Djava.library.path=/usr/java/jdk1.6.0_32/jre/lib:/usr/java/jdk1.6.0_32/lib 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [ERR] modjava.c:302 VENKY option: -verbose:jni 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [ERR] modjava.c:302 VENKY option: -Xms=64 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [ERR] modjava.c:302 VENKY option: -Xmx=256 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [ERR] modjava.c:302 VENKY option: -agentlib:jdwp=transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=127.0.0.1:8000 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [ERR] modjava.c:302 VENKY option: -Djava.library.path=/usr/local/freeswitch/mod 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [ERR] modjava.c:326 Error creating Java VM!, error: -1 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [INFO] switch_time.c:1123 Timezone reloaded 530 definitions 2012-06-07 20:51:24.058126 [CRIT] switch_loadable_module.c:1300 Error Loading module /usr/local/freeswitch/mod/mod_java.so **Module load routine returned an error** Would really appreciate any ideas from others that may have tried enabling the same? Freeswitch send 423 (Interval Too Brief)
by Lappe, Adam 09 Jun '12

09 Jun '12

Hi all, is there a way to make freeswitch send a 423 (Interval Too Brief) during a SIP REGISTER request? I want to prevent clients to (re)register with a low expire-time and thus spam our network. The "sip-force-expires"-variable would work but don't seem to be SIP-compliant to me. >From RFC 3261: 10.3 Processing REGISTER Requests When receiving a REGISTER request, a registrar follows these steps: (...) 7. The registrar now processes each contact address in the Contact header field in turn. For each address, it determines the expiration interval as follows: - If the field value has an "expires" parameter, that value MUST be taken as the requested expiration. - If there is no such parameter, but the request has an Expires header field, that value MUST be taken as the requested expiration. - If there is neither, a locally-configured default value MUST be taken as the requested expiration. The registrar MAY choose an expiration less than the requested expiration interval. If and only if the requested expiration interval is greater than zero AND smaller than one hour AND less than a registrar-configured minimum, the registrar MAY reject the registration with a response of 423 (Interval Too Brief). This response MUST contain a Min-Expires header field that states the minimum expiration interval the registrar is willing to honor. It then skips the remaining steps. Thanks in Advance, Adam
