I have had firmware problems with Planet products in the past. I am not a SIP expert, but I don't think that the branch is supposed to be incremented like that and therefore, it is not recognized by the dialog. In other words, the device is badly broken. just because it works with ${some_software}, thats not proof that it is right... As a developer I can tell you we often break the rules to get ${device} to work because there is a big need to make it work even tho ${device} is clearly broken and doesn't function the way it should... Just update the Planet firmware. It has worked in the past for me and it won't break the feature "it works with Asterisk". Not trying to be unpopular but if "with Asterisk works" and you don't want to do what we suggested, might as well stay with Asterisk, don't you think? -- João Mesquita Sent with Sparrow (http://www.sparrowmailapp.com/?sig) On Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11:52 AM, Ken Rice wrote:

According to the log, second device (which works) is using UDP, and first device is using TCP. Try to change it to UDP first and see if this fixes anything. In any way, if you can, update firmware and see if it works. Let us know the progress. Thanks Vitalie 2012/2/21 João Mesquita <jmesquita@freeswitch.org>

As a developer I can tell you we often break the rules to get ${device} to work because there is a big need to make it work even tho ${device} is clearly broken and doesn't function the way it should... Sonus is a great example of this (just google around and you'll find all sorts of issues related to this)
