My mistake i did not explained my needs properly. I am developing a carrier grade VOIP solution with Kamilio in front and FreeSwitch in back for media handling. There is no transcoding and it will be purely pass through implementation. My target is to handle around 30-40K concurrent calls and obviously not on a single server. I was hoping to put 5 servers with good configuration to handle this kind of load. What do you suggest to handle this kind of load? How many servers shall i put for FreeSwitch? 10k calls on one server would be very bad if it went down. You may want to use a few servers and have Opensips load balancer to handle the traffic.

However FreeSwitch is still not able to take more than 240 calls at a time.
