bind digit action calls my perl script only after 10 seconds delay
Hello, I use bind digit action in a few places. In one instance, if I'm on the call for more than 20 seconds, bind digit action does not call my perl script right away. There is a delay of 10 seconds before it calls my perl script. I also see this error and I have no idea why it is trying to play moh: 2014-02-19 06:15:43.944500 [DEBUG] switch_ivr.c:615 sofia/SIPRouter/226792XXXX Command Execute playback(local_stream://moh) EXECUTE sofia/SIPRouter/226792XXXX playback(local_stream://moh) 2014-02-19 06:15:43.944500 [WARNING] mod_local_stream.c:470 Unknown source moh, trying 'default' 2014-02-19 06:15:43.944500 [ERR] mod_local_stream.c:479 Unknown source default Has anyone else run into this problem? Ay ideas? Why doesn't bda execute immediately if the bridge is longer than 20 seconds? Thanks, Ali Pey
Looks like you’re putting a call on hold and you have no hold music configured, either unset the hold_music variable or setup your hold music. -- Brian West brian@freeswitch.org FreeSWITCH Solutions, LLC PO BOX 2531 Brookfield, WI 53008-2531 Twitter: @FreeSWITCH , @briankwest http://www.freeswitchbook.com http://www.freeswitchcookbook.com T: +1.918.420.9001 | F: +1.918.420.9002 | M: +1.918.424.WEST iNUM: +883 5100 1420 9001 ISN: 410*543 Skype:briankwest PGP Key: http://www.bkw.org/key.txt (AB93356707C76CED) On Feb 19, 2014, at 8:54 AM, Ali Pey <alipey@gmail.com> wrote:

My problem is that I'm not putting any calls on hold. I only invoke bind digit action to execute a perl script. I don't know where this hold music comes from. The call is in a bridge and I have a bind digit action set to execute a perl script. The perl script is only called after exactly 10 seconds if the bridge has been answered for more than 20 seconds and that's my problem. Actually removing hold_music variable fixed my problem. Strange and I don't understand the relationship but happy to have it working now. Thanks Brain. Regards, Ali Pey On Wed, Feb 19, 2014 at 11:20 AM, Ali Pey <alipey@gmail.com> wrote:
