Hi All, I am trying to send voicemail to email by following http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Mod_voicemail#Using_Outside_Programs_to_Send... . But I am not able to receive the mail. Aakash, Your config in switch.conf.xml duplicates the mailer parameters: <param name="mailer-app" value="/usr/local/freeswitch/scripts/sendemail.py"/> <param name="mailer-app-args" value="-i -d -f freeswitch@mydomain.com -t"/> <param name="mailer-app" value="/usr/sbin/sendmail"/> <param name="mailer-app-args" value="-t"/> The last value (as far as I know) will be chosen and, as you are choosing sendemail.py, it's the wrong one. Did you try the python script from the command line? Go to http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Mod_voicemail#Debugging_an_external_mailer and instead of using sendmail, use the arguments you have chosen with sendemail.py cat email.txt | /usr/local/freeswitch/scripts/sendemail.py -i -d -ffreeswitch@mydomain.com -t testuser@mydomain.com Changing the email addresses for your situation. Akash, It looks like you have included an extra carriage return at the end of the line (the ^M). Did you edit the file in a Windows editor like Notepad, perhaps, before transferring it across? Do this: cd /usr/local/freeswitch/scripts mv sendemail.py sendemail.py.old sed 's/\x0D$//'<sendemail.py.old>sendemail.py chmod +x sendemail.py more sendemail.py should show that there are no ^M at the end of each line. It sounds like you haven't set up DNS resolution correctly. This basic server setup stuff is beyond the FreeSWITCH list, to be honest.
