Re: [Freeswitch-users] Duplicate DTMF using certain ip phones on fs 1.2 during outbound calls to IVRS
I have experienced this same issue using a Grandstream GXP2200 on the local FS voicemail. Seems there should be a dtmf guard time or something to set to filter this. The problem has happened a couple of times while in voicemail I delete the current message and FS deletes the current and the next as well. I may have bounced the button but if I did it was too short of a silence in between for me to hear. Chances are the phone is actually sending two, are you dialing on speaker phone by chance? If so don't. See if the problem goes away. On Fri, Oct 31, 2014 at 12:56 PM, Jerry Allen <jerry.allen@vistabeam.com> wrote:

I was on speaker and it did send twice I am sure, the GXP2200 keypad is not "the best" but it is what it is. Is there a Freeswitch setting that could determine or simulate a guard time / de-bounce filter? no, if the device is sending two, its sending two, how are we to know what is real vs fantasy? Don't do it on speaker phone, its probably using an inband detector to turn the one played out the speaker phone into a DTMF tone too there by duplicating them.
