BYE not sent to caller
Hello all, I've got this situation where fs received a BYE from the bleg, on the cli it prints out "sending BYE to [channel]", but no BYE is actually sent. This is on TCP. This happened to anyone else? (Fs 1.4) Regards, David
Hi David, I experienced something similar with FS 1.4.18 during a test involving SIPp. In my case, FreeSWITCH did actually send the BYE but sent it over UDP instead of TCP for some reason so it didn't get picked up by the receiver. I never did figure out why and changed our test to use UDP exclusively instead. We are now using a later version of FreeSWITCH (1.6.12) and I haven't re-tested recently to see whether the same thing still happens. fyi, I never encounter this issue in FS 1.6.13 or above. You should consider using a 1.6.x ver of FS. rgds, Loi Dang Thanh Phone : +84. 1224.735.448 Email : loi.dangthanh@gmail.com On Thu, Feb 23, 2017 at 8:36 PM, Chris Young <Chris.Young@enghouse.com> wrote:

Chris, Did you happen to file this issue in JIRA? I do suspect its fixed, but not filing a JIRA is how things like this never get fixed. ;) /b On Thu, Feb 23, 2017 at 7:36 AM, Chris Young <Chris.Young@enghouse.com> wrote:

Hi Brian, No, I'm sorry I didn't and I probably should have done, you're right. I will try to retest it when I get a chance and open a new ticket if the problem persists in more recent versions.
