FreeSWITCHers, Many commercial companies are very secretive that they use FreeSWITCH in their infrastructure, What can we do as a community to welcome larger commercial involvement in FreeSWITCH as a community? I would love to broaden our community out reach if possible.
I suggest to organize FSUG (FreeSwitch Users Group) meeting similar to the one Varnish-cache organizes, inviting the LARGE company technical leaders to share their experiences. For instance, in VUG6 (https://www.varnish-cache.org/vug6) has BBC's experience during Olympics 2012. Just my two cents.
We already do this, and already invite them all... This year is the 10th edition of ClueCon in Chicago... What I think Brian is talking about here, more like regular interaction with the community. We already know several very large companies are actively using FreeSWITCH, but they are extremely secretive about it. We would like them to come out and join us on the weekly call, join us on IRC, get involved in general. We would love to have them just like we love having the smaller companies and Average Joe users. Lets be honest here, its not just the developers that make FreeSWITCH what it is, but the user base also.
