Hi Tony, I don't remember ever supporting an MFC/R2 install in Macau that was not a cross border link. Obviously, the cross border links use the China MFC/R2 protocol. I have no idea what variant of MFC/R2 might be used inside Macau. I suspect, for historic reasons, it might specifically not be the same as the China protocol. However, I have never seen documentation on Macau's MFC/R2 to really know. In other words, I have no idea if Macau is supported by the MFC/R2 software or not. Macau generally uses EuroISDN these days. Regards, Steve On 11/04/2010 10:07 AM, Tony Tin wrote:
Hi,
Thanks everyone for your help.
We're not working cross border. Our equipment is located in Macau. As far as I know it is MFC/R2. If it is EuroISDN, should I use openzap or FreeTDN ?
Thanks again for your help.
Regards, Tony

Hi Tony,
Are you working cross border? E1s within Macau are usually EuroISDN. Some going to China are MFC/R2.
